Traverses European cobblestone with ease!
Super impressed with how this luggage moved with ease over ancient cobblestone in Spain! I really put it through its paces- traveling for 2 weeks through 7 cobblestone cities! There were times I had to roll this suitcase down a few blocks of cobblestone every time we changed location. Not only did it master the terrain and was so easy to move, it still looks like new after being beat up for 2 weeks! It never tipped once and the telescopic handle was sturdy. The zippers allow you to lock them (lock not included). It’s also surprisingly lightweight & spacious! Great case for the price! Would definitely buy again …if I ever need too.

Bought ‘Like New’ and it’s brand new and great!
What I Like:- Amazing deal via Amazon Warehouse- VERY spacious- Wheels roll easily- Zippers are strong- Handles are strongWhat I Dislike:- Absolutely nothingThis suitcase by American Tourister is perfect for those such as myself who require lots of luggage space when traveling. It packs a serious punch with its size. You can expect to comfortably pack 7 days worth of clothing in this beast.I was able to use this luggage right away and it was big enough to accommodate me and my daughter for a 5 day trip we recently took. The suitcase still looks brand new after already being used twice. I see no stitching coming apart. I see no loose or worn handles which tells me they are durable. The wheels are so smooth and they continue to operate as if they haven’t been used.I really hit the jackpot with this suitcase considering it exceeded my expectations and it was over fifty percent off via Amazon Warehouse deal.I like this suitcase so much, I ended up buying the midsize version of it for my children to share when we go on family trips!

Great med size case
I got this suitcase bc I was looking for something a bit smaller than what I have for those shorter trips. And even though it’s advertised as such it holds A LOT!! Love the color and the wheels seem pretty sturdy and roll with ease. I would’ve given it 5 stars but.. as with a lot of suitcases it has multiple zippers for the different compartments however finding the zipper that actually opens the suitcase has been difficult. I found it to b frustrating. Maybe that’s just me lol. The other issue I kind of had was with the retractable handle. In pulling up or down it stops midway. Maybe for people that don’t want it all the way up. But other than that very happy with it. Neither issue are deal breakers for the price

Perfect for what I needed
I needed a suitcase a little larger than a carry-on and this fit the bill. Very sturdy and roomy. It was very easy to roll through the airports and a myriad of hotels and uneven streets and sidewalks. I am extremely pleased with my purchase. Highly recommend!

Great Luggage
Love the medium luggage. American Tourist Trying to stick to. This is a great brand even though pricey for one piece. Like Samsonite. Not as pricey as Samsonite. It lasts. Needed larger and updated luggage. Had my last piece of this luggage forever and still good. Thanks

Very durable

If you want the 27.5 inch size order the 24 inch model
The merchant does a poor job of associating the model name with the actual dimensions. I wanted a check-in size suitcase so I looked at the actual dimensions and decided on the one that measures 27.5 inches from floor to top of handle. Logically I ordered the 28 inch model. I received a suitcase that measured 32.5 inches which the airline would have charged me an extra $100. Returned the too large suitcase (which also had a corner damaged in shipping) and ordered the 24 inch model which measures 27.5 inches. The suitcase itself is fine for the money.

So far so good.
I replaced an old American Tourister roller bag with this one. It is a little bit smaller than my previous, but still fits everything I need. My old suitcase had only 2 wheels that were not spinners. I prefer the old version. I’m nervous about these wheels getting ripped off or bent by the luggage handling systems under the airports. We shall see. I also don’t like when I go to tip this suitcase down to roll it on just two wheels sometimes one of the two will be facing the wrong way and not want to roll smoothly because the whole suitcase is sitting at a slight angle. I just have to make sure I push it in a specific direction to get them both facing the same way then tip it.

Train travelers beware! Larger bag is taller than 28 inches.
Don’t get me wrong; this is a very nice set of luggage. The reason I knocked off a star is that I took the 28 in the item description to mean that it was 28 inches tall. It’s not. The body of the bag itself is 31 inches.Why does this matter? I know this doesn’t make a difference for air travel, but it’s the difference between being able to carry the larger bag onto an Amtrak train and having to check it.I had planned to use the larger bag as my carry-on until I saw it. Doubts set in. It looked a bit bigger than 28 x 22 inches, Amtrak’s maximum size for a carry-on. I read the fine print, but I thought it was referring to the size of the box, not the bigger suitcase, especially with that big 28 in the description. But I am cautious when it comes to traveling, and I want NO surprises. So I got out a tape measure. Surprise! The larger bag is too big for me to carry on the train. If I can’t make everything fit into what I’m allowed to carry on board, I’ll have to check a bag. And at the end of a 28-hour train trip, the last thing I want to deal with is baggage claim.Honestly, I would return the set, but I got it at a super low price during Prime Days, and there’s no way I could replace even one of the bags with the same quality item. So now I just need to figure out how wide the smaller case will expand and see if I have to suck it up and check the larger bag.

Failed on its First Trip
To be fair, I took the piece to Europe for three weeks so it got handled by airport/cruise staff 8 times by the time I returned. However, I have luggage that I’ve owned for years with many more miles on it than this piece that has held up better. I lost a zipper pull, and there’s now a puncture hole in the side. The warranty won’t cover this kind of damage as they only cover manufacturing problems.

Quality not great
Disappointing. Probably OK for a car trip or for an infrequent domestic traveler. The top to bottom dimension was actually bigger than allowed for many airlines (23+ inches).Compared to my 12-yr old American Tourister carry-on, this just seemed cheap. Because the old one is a hair too big to be a carry-on I thought I’d try for one meeting today’s measurements. I didn’t like the fabric or the overall feel. The bag is light but I think that’s because the materials aren’t as good. If flung around by baggage handlers I suspect the bag’s life would be short. The handle was too wobbly. The wheels are noisy. They tended to hang up on tiny gaps in my kitchen tile so I don’t think this would work well on rough surfaces. The top handle was uncomfortable and came bent with a crease in the middle. I’ll stick to my old one as a checked bag and a good backpack.If there’s a plus, it’s that I could return it to my local Kohl’s for Amazon return, instead of having to pay shipping back to the seller.

Great Color, Big & Lightweight, but Handles are Flimsy
I bought this luggage set for my mother for our summer trip. She loves the color and that the bags themselves are lightweight. My mother wound up using the checked luggage size for our 2-week trip overseas. When we checked our luggage weight at airport it was at 28 pounds. At our destination, we had to climb up and down subway stairs. By the end of day one of our trip, the suitcase handle was starting to tear. Thankfully it has not completely tore off, but that’s because I had to sew it together. Other than the handle tearing, it’s a great piece for travel. The wheels did great for rolling on city streets and cobblestones for 2 weeks.

Bought for our cruise!
My husband and I needed two new large suitcases for our cruise.It was a 9 day cruise and this suitcase held it all! It’s very deep which I’m super impressed with.Zippers seem to be high quality and I love the spinner wheels.The price was great too!

Don’t buy a light color!!!
I really liked the lavender color. It certainly was easy to spot on the luggage carousel at the airport, however, after only ONE leg of my trip, it was incredibly dirty. The baggage handlers don’t care and they threw my suitcase around so that it was filthy on all sides plus they broke one end piece off the zipper. It is so dirty that I don’t want to use it any longer. Ugh!!! I tried cleaning it with upholstery cleaner and got maybe 10% off. The luggage itself might be okay, but I am warning against buying a light color.

Just what we needed
We only used ours for the first time on our recent trip, but they were a nice size (24 & 20) with wheels, a handle that pulls out and in like it’s supposed to. The canvas is flexible so you can fit more than the hard cases. Has pockets inside and out to separate items as you’d like. Love the bright blue color… just as pictured .

I bought 3 pieces 20”,24” and the 28” in the blue. They are beautiful but more important they roll with ease! They are soft sided with a zipper that opens for an extra inch of room for packing. Highly recommend these.
