Extremely sharp
I know this is temporary because all knives get dull over time but daaaang these knives are sharp. Almost too sharp? You can barely look at them without accidentally cutting yourself! But if you’re careful that makes for great tools in the kitchen.

Terrible Sharpener
Started out well but the sharpener has mangled my chef’s knife. The edge has become incredibly jagged from just trying to make it sharper. The edge seems very weak compared to past knives I’ve used.*Update: I will laud the customer service of this seller. They took initiative to recognize my issue and worked to make amends.

Good for the price.
You get what you pay for. The knives do sharpen with a knife sharpener OK and it’s nice that I can put them in the dishwasher because it’s not a wood handle but the metal is thin and not heavy. That being said it’s cheap so you get what you pay for.

Don’t expect pro chef knives! BUT
Ok so why the 5 star? I didn’t expect pro chef knives from the get go! BUT for what I paid for them they are exceptional. Delivery was as expected, the quality of the knives at the moment seems to be (for the price) great. There are some reviews that complain about rust stains, mine are flawless (as they should be) so far we’ve used them on various things, veggies – meats no issues. They come sharp, and after each use they have been washed, dried and placed back in respective slots in the block (DRY) as intended. The sharpener is not intended to establish the bevels that create the edge, it’s intended to maintain said bevels to keep the edge keen. That having been said a couple of light strokes after each use then wash and dry after use is all they will need to keep a good functional sharp edge. These knives are designed for home use not a restaraunt kitchen they are good quality and I would recommend them to anyone who is in need of a decent set, for example for a first apartment etc etc. Great home kitchen knives for the price recommended.

Excellent knives but VERY sharp.
Excellent knives, already loving them. Be careful removing from the cardboard and plastic packaging though. Unpacking the chefs knife it literally cut through both effortlessly and sliced into my pinky very quickly and cleanly, barely felt the cut. No complaints on the product, just user mishandling and ignorance. Excellent knives all around, 10/10.

Everyone needs this affordable knife set!
I have had this knife set for over a year now and I am thoroughly impressed. The steak knifes have remained sharp and the built-in sharpener works great on all the other knifes. I am so impressed at the quality for such an affordable price! 10/10 recommend!

Very sharp
The knives are excellent and exceptionally sharp. I unknowingly received a few cuts while using them. Despite this, I would still consider purchasing them again. However, after several uses, they require a significant amount of sharpening. I am uncertain about the effectiveness of the built-in sharpener function, as it does not seem to perform as expected.

Update: after the seller read my review they contacted me through Amazon and offered to refund me due to my dissatisfaction. I respect their concern and commitment to their service and product however decided a refund due to the fact that I am responsible for my purchase and should have known better as well. I am truly impressed by their customer concerns. I wish them all the best and hope they can build on this experience. Not sharp at all. Knifes are fine for the price you pay that’s about it. I would not recommend or buy again. They were 60% off so took a chance. I would not buy again. I plan on giving away to charity and buying a better quality for myself..

Good product for the price .
I was unsure of this product because of reading the reviews about them rusting. I have no issues with rusting. I also hand wash all my knives, some reviews were saying they put them in the dish washer. 🙅🏻♀️ I’ve had them for 2 months and use them every day. They are a good starting knife set if you’re just using them for home. Haven’t use the built in sharpener yet.

Pretty good knives.
We saw these advertised on Good Morning America and bought them. The first set had a damaged knife handle and was returned. The second set was fine. Not the most expensive knives but seem to hold and edge pretty well for the price. I recommend running the straight edge blades across the built in sharpener a couple times before first use to touch up the edge. Anyway, so far, so good.

Chef Knives
First and foremost these knives are beautiful and they really feel expensive but the main thing for me is how freaking sharp they are! They are not Wusthof or Henckles but have a decent edge and great for a RV which is what I personally bought them for. They have a decent edge being knew and stainless, I may see if I can work the edge on the chef and slicing knife and get them a little sharper; like razor sharp and will see how that holds up, The are stainless so its hard to get razor sharpness from a stainless knife unless it has a high carbon so will see if they stand up to there marketing. The handles have a nice ergonomic feeling in my hands so I am very happy for that and the quality is decent for a 40 dollar set. I purchased this for my RV didn’t want to bring the good knives out camping. I am very happy with the set and would buy them again as a gift.

Still great since January 2022
I had zero problems with my set but don’t leave them out in the rain or leave them sit with residue from cutting a tomato overnight either. I don’t cut branches with them either. I use them as intended and just take care of them. They are still like the day I bought them back in 2022 and almost 2 and a half years now. I see from reviews that some had pretty bad reviews and problems but my set has been great! Maybe I’m lucky but I’d buy them again.
