A Great Birthday Gift.
It has kept my grandkids busy and it has been a blessing. The batteries have lasted longer than I expected and easy to replace. The quality of the material and workmanship is great as the shark is still working as the usual mishaps with 6, 7, and 8 years olds.

My grandson loved this till it was time to recharge it. There was no plug in the box. Didn’t realize this till later because I live out of state and by time I gave it to him he had not used it for over a month.

remote fun
I gave this remote control shark to my grandson for his 8th birthday. It was a little smaller than I thought it would be, but it turned out to be great fun. He took such delight in manuevering it around his pool.and I know it will be even more fun when his friends come over. It swims so realisticly in the pool. Well worth the price. easy for him to use and just a hoot to watch!

Not what I expected
I bought this for our swimming pool as I thought it pretty cool to show my kid how shark slim. Unfortunately this motorized shark did not work out the way I thought it would. What is pretty cool as rechargeable batteries I’ll come with the items so I really do appreciate that because that meant I did not need to purchase extra batteries for this toy. As I am sure with many caregivers and I share we consistently buy batteries for our children’s battery powered toys. The downside of this item is the motorized shark itself. The moderate shark did not swim as we expected and the remote was pretty difficult to understand. Some point the shark kept going in circles and it did take a while to figure out how to drive it in the water. Additionally when there were some movement in the water, like someone splashing, the shark would be rendered useless and it would not move anymore even if we were controlling it with the remote. So pretty much for the shark to be able to drive in the pool, there had to be zero Movement in the water. The moment they were some movement in the water the shark just couldn’t gain any traction and wouldn’t swim anymore. And that’s when we all lost interest in the shark. So I’m sure there are many other options for water motorized vehicle for both adults and children to enjoy but this is not one of them.

Toy defect
The media could not be loaded.
The toy worked the first time it was used to play, the battery ran out after 15 min, it is thus 100% charged, the 2nd backup battery was placed and the control and the shark were never linked again, the control remains flashing Without connecting with the shark, the procedure has been repeated as indicated in the instructions for use, but the toy has not worked again, this toy was supposed to be a gift and it was sent to someone out of the country so I don’t know how can we try to work it out

Remote Control is not waterproof and shark is not balanced well
I have just tried it out in a bath before taking it to the pool. Hands were obviously wet after i placed shark in a water and when i used the controlled a few drops got under the RC buttons and that was it. Now motors are turned on at random. I have ramoved batteries fron RC and letting it to dry out, will see how it goes from there.Second thing is that shark itself flipping to the side when it close to the wall and its impossible to turn away from the wall while in such orientation. Eventually the motor that spins when you want to turn away from the wall is not submerged so it spins in the air because shark is lying on the side.

Don’t buy this shark unless you’re interested in a drunk-looking rubber duck
I read a lot of good customer reviews before I bought two of these sharks as birthday presents for my twin nieces so I was very surprised to discover that it was one of the worst purchases I’ve ever made. Not sure why no mentioned all the issues that come with these sharks but maybe I just got 2 total duds? 2? Hmm, not likely. First of all, to CHANGE the batteries you need to use a mini screwdriver (comes with) and it takes about 20 minutes per shark because the four mini screws have very little tread. I can’t imagine how long it would have taken by the 3rd or 4th battery change! Then you have to CHARGE the batteries for an hour to get what they say is 20 minutes of swim time. Wrong. Each hour charge got us about 8 minutes of swim time in the pool and the sharks were SO SLOW and hard to steer it was honestly pretty embarrassing. Plus, one of the sharks would only swim in lopsided circles and the sections of its tail were so stiff they barely swiveled at all so it was literally like watching a drunk rubber duck. I will say however that Amazon was GREAT about returning our $$, no hassles there, but that’s about the only upside of my experience. I’m just bummed that what I thought would be a big hit at the pool party was a total dud and wanted to make sure I let other peeps know so you wouldn’t make the same mistake. Unless of course you’re in to rubber ducks.

Got alot of laughs put of this toy!
I ordered this rc shark to use at the pond at the campground I am a seasonal at. I thought it would be fun to sit on the beach and play with my family and friends trying to relax in the water. It is easy to use and the battery lasts awhile. My first victim was my daughter. She was so comfortable laying on a float when sharky approached her and started bumping into her float. At first she didn’t budge but then after a few more taps she opened her eyes and let out a scream. It was hilarious. She thought it was one of the fish in the pond trying to attack her. We laughed so hard. I then continued to harrass anyone and everyone I could. Everyone couldnt get enough of this shark. The remote is easy to operate. For a small shark this thing really moves. If you are looking for a good time this shark is a great choice.

Can’t wait for the weather to clear and take to the pool. My grandson loves this shark. It’s durable, easy to assemble and use. If you get the remote wet, simply let it dry out, it’s fine! It has a light other front, so cool with lights out in the tub too! Sorry,my video won’t upload

Love it!
I bought this one and I bought a cheaper one at our local retail store. Both are fun, I prefer this one for the rechargeable factor and it maneuvers better. We’re also guessing it will probably have a longer lifespan, but we’ll check in later on that if I think of it. I think my spouse, teen & I have played with it more then the youngers lol

The instructions are not clear, Read the review so you know how to get it to work.
First, it will not work if its out of the water, It has a sensor that shut off if its out of water. So the remote paired and all was fine, but we couldn’t get it to work unless we put it in the water. So make sure you don’t try it out of water as it does not work. The remote has 2 buttons in the front/side of the remote. The left remote does nothing, if you push it then it will break as it is hallow behind it. So don’t use the left one, the right one keeps the speed low and faster, it is very slow so keep in mind that it is not a speed boat, it moves very very slow !Lastly, Make sure the battery housing unit is sealed, I got some water in it and was able to clean it and air it out. just make sure you align the battery housing unit flush with it so it works in the future.I love the product, but it is priced very high, I would pay up to 20$ , at the time of purchase It was 33$

Small in size and swims on its side; remote NOT waterproof!
This little guy seems to be well made, even came with extra propellers and an extra rechargeable battery. The only problem is that he swims on his side, not sure why as both propellers are working. And he is little. I thought he would be bigger than what he is. Still fun to play around with in the pool. Updated to add: remote is not waterproof!!

Fun Novelty Toy for Summer
I bought this for a summer lake retreat to shock or scare various people in the water, and it basically lived up to these expectations. The controls work fairly well, and it can look fairly real depending on how you operate it. Of course, its size is more like a trout than a shark, but it was still fun. Not sure why there has to be a light on it …. The main drawback is that swapping out the rechargeable battery is quite the hassle, almost to the point of deciding not to take it out more because of not wanting to deal with it. Anyway, fun toy for the lake or pool.

Remote will not light to pair up with shark.
Is there a trick to pairing the remote !? New batteries installed, shark light comes on but remote light does not and so it does not operate the RC shark propellers and again, light of remote does not light to pair.Tried putting shark in water bc reviews say works in water only not out of water, but again….the pairing hasn’t happened. Must be a faulty remote. I’ve done all I can do. Remote pairing/light doesn’t come on = no movement of shark.

Not great, just ok
The instructions lack, there is no way to determine when the battery is charged, no mention of charging instructions. The remote is a cheap little thing but the shark works pretty well. The kids like it ok…….they supply a cheap screwdriver to install batteries. It lasts about 10 to 15 minutes and I have no way of knowing how long to charge the battery pack, which by the way is tiny. Cheap throw away toy, I wouldn’t buy another one.

kinda works… kinda.
got one to let my son drive around in the pool… it is too buoyant and tips to the side (even if you get all the bubbles out) and battery changes and charging is annoying because you need a screwdriver to open the hatch. If they made a tool-less hatch and added some ballast weights, then it would work much better.
