Description
From the manufacturer
The fully lined luggage includes three interior zippered pockets to keep smaller items safely stored and easier to find.
Telescoping and Short Handles
Extend and lock the telescoping handle in place when rolling the luggage. The securely mounted short handle offers rugged strength for stable lifting.
360-Degree Spinner Wheels
Unlike other luggage that only rolls forwards and backwards, the suitcase’s 360-degree spinner wheels maneuver with ease in any direction.

Not so tough!
Looks like good quality…heavy duty, spinners roll well, light-weight and lined. But after 4-5 uses, the luggage didn’t hold up to luggage handlers. Zippers came apart and the retractable handle mechanism was bent. Maybe just ‘bad luck’, but would have expected it to ‘hold up’ a little better.

Nice Nested Set of Softside Luggage
Got this set off of Amazon Warehouse deals. There are three sizes of luggage, small, medium, and large. The small is a carry on. Seem to be well made and are pretty light. Wheels are replaceable, so I bought a set of replacement wheels. The spinner wheels on luggage tends to take a beating and will be nice to be able to pop one off and install a new one if and when the airline luggage monster break them. I graded this set down on durability because one of the front pocket zippers was broken on the set I received. Looked like the larger luggage of the set was probably used and zipper must have been broken, probably on the first trip, then returned for replacement. Durability a question if a zipper breaks that easily, especially a front zipper that is pretty well protected. Otherwise, good value.

Well Made & Good Price
I travel almost every week. This is a bit smaller than my last bag and doesn’t start to push the size limits for domestic flights. (The exception would be the small regional flights where you have to gate check everything anyway.) Very light and roles well. As always, the laws of physics apply–I put heavier items near the wheels and have not had any issue with it tipping even with my (fairly large) brief case on top of it. (I am actually having to carry two laptops temporarily and I have a CPAP that is in the top of the bag, so I would feel comfortable saying it is reasonably stable even when the odds are a bit stacked against it.) I just about got the next size larger, but for three nights on the road this works well. Pull out the CPAP and you would have room for a pair of jogging shoes. A good value and if it last me three years it will be doing better than my swiss army brand one that I paid about twice as much for. (To be fair, a baggage handler extended the handle on that one and then dropped a heavy bag on it which bent the handle making it difficult to lower.)

Seems smaller than advertised
Although smaller than what it replaced, holds plenty of stuff. Reasonably sturdy.

Light weight and a good clean look
It’s quite basic and lacks features such as a zippered lining, and has only one fairly useless external pocket. But it does the job it says it will do. I took it on three trips and then sold it for 75% of what I bought it for, so I’m satisfied.

Not the best, not the worst.
Replaced a hodgepodge of luggage and bags with this 3-piece set and am pleased with the smaller two pieces. The largest doesn’t roll smoothly, feels like it needs some reinforcement around the wheels. The wheels on all three pieces would be great if they were double instead of single wheels; all three pieces tend to fall over and do not roll as smoothly as they could with better wheel construction. I would not recommend this set for anyone who travels frequently (unfortunately I do), as I don’t think it will hold up to the rigors of baggage handlers nor wheeling through large airports.

Perfect size!!!
5 star except for durability as I have not used it yet. So that is the only reason for the 3. I will update durability later. Like what I see. Going to spray an orange band around it or something. Why are all bags black? All look alike. Going on a trip next month whether the political pandemic subsides or not. Getting out of the house and on the road again. Shoot me. Cabin fever here. This bag is a great in between size. My cary on bag is just a bit too small for everything. Small check bag I have which I can sneak by as a carry on just needs a little more room. This bag which is just an inch or so bigger around is the answer. And I will check it as I am tried of lugging crap into the cabin and trying to stuff it into the overhead..If my dirty underwear gets lost so what.Just wait 20 minutes and relax while the belt goes round and round.

Not durable!
I bought this less than 1 year ago and used it for 3 trips (looking at the tag shows its hardly been used. I’ve always packed it with extra room so it wouldn’t exceed 50 lbs for flying. The inside has held up nicely, but the outside busted open in 2 places. If I would’ve reviewed this before I took my last trip I would’ve given it 5 stars. Now it’s going in the trash.

Much smaller than my old carry on, but nice and light
I just received this bag today and won’t be traveling with it for a few weeks. I will practice packing a week’s worth of clothing for my trip to Paris, to see how it compares with my old bag. It’s much lighter and the spinner wheels make it so much more maneuverable. I look forward to being able to push it sideways down the aisle of the 1st class cabin, back to my seat in steerage, without knocking anyone’s champagne out of their hands. I don’t want to use my old 2-wheeler any longer, but the spinners come at the price of a couple inches of space, as my pictures show. For the record, my old bag has always passed airline guidelines for carry on luggage, as recently as this summer, on American and United. The price is definitely a plus.

Adequate – not compelling.
I bought this and then returned it without using it. I forgot to check one day shipping and so it was going to arrive too late. So I thought I would write a non sponsored review. I’m going to compare this to a similarly priced bag I got at a local store: https://www.amazon.com/SwissGear-Travel-Gear-Expandable-Spinner/dp/B00C2F2FJU.The inside measurement of the compartment is 16″ which compares to 17.5″ for the comparison bag. This bag has very thick handle that takes it up to 21″ The Swiss Gear handle is thin and collapses to nothing. Which is fine for a spinner. Quality is about the same. The telescoping handle on both is flimsy. I got it to support my monster 17″ laptop bag and the Swiss Gear buckled and swayed under the load. I suspect it will only last a few trips.Bottom line – small compartment but otherwise fine. If it had arrived in time, I imagine I would have been satisfied with it on my trip.

Just enough bigger than many carry-ons to be good suitcase for a few days!
I needed something just a bit larger than the carry-on suitcases I already had, something that will make travel for a few days better. The only thing I dislike about this one is the way they measure. I had expected the 25″ to be the size of the suitcase itself, without the wheels, so I could expect to have 25″ of storage space. But it includes the wheels, so it’s not quite as large as I had hoped for. If the size hadn’t been so deceptive I would give this 5 stars! I realize that when measuring to see whether it is acceptable as a carry-on the wheels need to be included, but for people trying to calculate how much actual storage space is available, this is actually a 23″ suitcase. Listing the actual storage dimensions in addition to the overall dimensions would have been nice. The other dimensions (width and depth were accurate). The expansion zipper does not increase storage capacity by 25% as the listing says because the expansion zipper doesn’t go all the way around the suitcase — it only goes 3/4 of the way around so there is a small increase in storage space but not 25%. Amazon could do better in the accuracy department.

Amazon almost messed me up
I just received it. Can’t say much but so far it looks good.Amazon on the other hand delivered this item off my door to my apartments reception office door in the open, and the office was closed that day. Lucky for me, I was home therefore, had to drive to the reception to pick it up. I only knew where it was because of the picture they uploaded when declaring delivered! If the picture wasn’t uploaded to show the door I would have never known where it was delivered. Can Amazon send people who actually knows how to read addresses and directions!!!!!!!

It’s a great product. Perfect size for small travelling like 3 …
It’s a great product. Perfect size for small travelling like 3 to 4 days. I used this while traveling out for an interview, so yes I fit a blazer in there that I later had to iron. I also fit flipflops, a round travelling mirror, a bag full of makeup and 1 shirt and 1 pants and socks and what not. You can make it work. The only reason I gave this product 4 stars is because I didnt like the logo. No one wants to know that their suitcase is Amazon basics. Im happy to tell people where I got it. Just dont like rolling a cute luggage that has “amazons basics” engraved on it. Either get rid of it or place it underneath at the bottom where no one is likely to see it. Until then, I can only give 4 stars.

Good suitcase. Quality lacking, front zipper broke on Trip #3
I bought this suitcase for the size and value. We own a couple of smaller TravelPro suitcases that are great for 2-3 nights and we can take them onboard. We also have some large TravelPro suitcases that are great for 5+ days. This one is good for 4-5 days when you are willing to check in luggage. The aesthetics are nice. Good form and color. The material is durable. It’s been checked in 3 times and the exterior material has held up well. The problem is that the front zipper broke off on the 3rd trip. It is past its return window. I will contact Amazon and see if they’ll stand behind the product. Not very optimistic but will update this review if they do.

Legal sized and relatively inexpensive
Airlines are pushing for smaller and smaller bags for the overhead compartments. Of course, travellers violate these stipulations all the time and get away with it. Some grossly violate the rules and get away with it. Yet, if you want to be bag compliant and not have to worry that your bag will be snagged and stored elsewhere, this bad is compliant with the rules. It is very small, but if you roll your clothes you actually can get a lot of stuff into it.

Love this! Was perfect for a 12 day summer trip!
So smaller than I expected, the 21″ was 18 inches of bag + 3 inches of wheels, but I was about to leave for my trip so nothing I could do about it…but it worked perfectly! I was gone for 12 days, got 6 summer outfits in here as I knew i’d have a laundromat nearby at mid-trip. Took it on planes & train! Really made me think about what I REALLY needed while traveling and apparently I don’t need as much nonsense as I usually take!! From what I read it seems as though European airlines have stricter measurements so this will be perfect for a future planned Europe trip with flights & trains. Very easy to maneuver in airplanes. Some people report the handles wobbly, seems to only do that on carpeting. Very easy to roll. Even traveled nicely over cobblestones in Quebec City to laundromat.Looks very nice. Overall extremely pleased with this!

Great Carry-On Bag!
I ordered this small carry-on suitcase for my son and liked it so much, I later ordered one for me, too. It easily fits in overhead storage bins in airplanes and its size qualifies it as carry-on luggage on every major U.S. airline that we checked. The spinner wheels make it so easy to maneuver through the airport and the telescoping handle allows you to strap another small bag on top. I plan to be careful with the handle as it feels the slightest bit weak or frail – I’m guessing they didn’t put a real heavy-duty metal handle on it in order to keep the suitcase light. I don’t mind because I was looking for a sturdy but lightweight carry-on bag that I can easily manage by myself. By rolling up my clothes, I was easily able to pack an entire week’s worth of clothes and shoes into this bag! Great job, Amazon!

Good carry-on for the price.
I was skeptical because of all the reviews from the people that got this for free but I needed another small carry-on, so I took a chance. It’s nice, definitely not 5 stars though, some may even say 3. The zippers and interior are of good quality. The weak points are the telescoping handle and the wheels. The handle feels flimsy and I feel that the wheels could be reinforced a little better. However, I think most luggage out there has plastic wheels so they probably can’t get much better. Overall it’s a good piece, and for its price you really can’t get too upset by the few shortcomings it has. I didn’t have any issues with it tipping over. It would only want to tip if I put my carry-on duffle bag on top of it, but only when the wheels were in certain positions.

Handled Great until third time being used. Zipper broke during an international flight.
We were very happy with this luggage at first. Very roomy and handled great when rolling thru the airport. Worked great for the first two trips used….This past trip to Mexico the end of September was the kicker. Suitcase was all wrapped up in plastic on the luggage carrousel at BWI (traveling from Cancun). Two zippers had broken…one zipper was totally missing. I missed the return window by a few days due to having company visit as soon as our return trip. 🙁 Of course we all know how tenderly luggage handlers handle our luggage…so there’s that.

Tippy/wobbly handle/ good size
This little carry-on is the perfect size and wheels around fairly well but the handle feels very wobbly so I’m afraid it may not last for long and it’s a bit tippy. But for what I need it for, just quick trips, it works out ok for me

Perfect for Spirit AIrlines!
After researching for a spacious carry on with spinners that were the exact dimensions of the Spirit Airlines personal item maximum, and was a soft case, this one (18inch model) was the only bag I found that fit the bill. After I got it, I measured it myself and sure enough it matches the Spirit Airline personal item bag dimensions limit almost exactly (including spinner wheels) at 18x14x8. I have been able to easily fit it under the aisle, middle, and window seats and have never been asked to put it in their size test bins – though I’m sure it would fit if I were to put it in. There is some “poof” in the front zippered pocket so you have some space to put stuff in the front pouch before the bag gets stretched above the 8 inch depth limit. This bag also fits my 15.6inch hp elitebook laptop. Very glad I found this bag!

Not good as a checked piece ☹️
My first spinner piece of luggage, was excited to use it on upcoming tripsWorked great for first domestic flight, no problem with carry on.Yes, I could pack enough for 8 day international trip, however it weighed to much to actually allow me to carry it onto the plane and had to be checked. During handling the front zipper was totally broken off, rendering the front pocket useless unless I can figure out a replacement zipper piece. Any comments to assist me in fixing zipper would be appreciated as I have another trip in 2 weeks, so unless I get this fixed it’ll be back to old crappy suitcase.

Zipper Failure
Purchased 2 of the 30” spinners, back in 2019 has traveled well only on a few trips spinning nicely and holding up well to handling. Unfortunately 7/2024 our luggage arrived open at the airport and spilled contents on the conveyor belt…we found the zipper to have failed and opened at the zipper interlocking teeth dumping all the clothes, etc. please note the luggage was packed nicely and weight was not a factor, carrying just clothes, cannot trust again and have to consider another brand as a replacement.

Lightweight and Well Designed
I like the size of the luggage. It is very lightweight and rolls well without tipping over. However, the outside zipper on the large case broke after only one trip. I will have to see how well the rest of it holds up. In my experience, no matter what you pay for suitcases, they tend not to last very long due to rough treatment by luggage handlers at the airport. This set is at least lightweight, which is the most important factor for me. Yes, the heavy ones probably last longer, but who wants to have to carry them? I feel that the Amazon suitcases are a good value for the money.

Travels VERY well. Holds more than you think. Durable.
21” size – UPDATED REVIEWI have been traveling with this bag for 9 months now and have run this bag through 18 flights to-date. I will try to answer as many questions as I can in this review.I just measured my bag: Exterior dimensions of the “21 inch” bag: 22 x 15 x 8″ INCLUDING THE WHEELS and hand handle with the telescoping handle folded in.Internal packing area: 15.5 x 13.5 x 6.0″. This can be increased to 15.5×13.5×7.0. by unzippering the center zipper. G, which is a good idea for road travel but not a good idea for flying. If you fly a large jetliner, it makes no difference. If, however, you are flying a regional jet, they have a depth limit of 9″. It is easy to stuff your bag in such a way that the soft side presses out more than 9″. If you don’t extend your case, it is easy to squish the side to make it fit, but if you have extended the case to 9″ and then overstuff it, the bag will wind up checked on those “RJ” jets. Will it fit overhead?: Most aircraft? – Yes. Small regional jets?- Actually it will but they may make you gate check it anyway. Will this fit under the seat: Usually not.The outer pocket is good for items up to 13.5 x 12.5 x 1″. The pocket is actually 15″ high but because of the zipper placement, I call the useful pocket height 13.5″There has been a lot of speculation in the reviews as to how much this case can hold and how durable it will be in the long run. The durability of the canvas-like cloth exterior has been excellent and it wipes clean when the airlines are abusive. In the 9 months that I have owned this bag, it has been on 18 flights; some as carry on and a few as checked luggage. It has been to the Mountains of Montana, the remote southern deserts, and the “wilds” of Las Vegas. Despite the wobbliness of the handle, it holds up very well and is easy to operate. I am careful to pack right and I’ve never had a tip-over issue. The wheels have worked well on tile, linoleum, carpet, concrete, asphalt, dirt, and snow. My typical load is 5 days’ worth of clothes, toiletries, and “paperwork,” plus a large (weekly planner type). And, I have never opened the expansion section.Isn’t 15.5 x 13.5 x 6.0″ rather small? Well, that depends on how and what you pack. If you lay your clothes in and load as you go, then yes, this is a small bag. However, if you pack like me (roll everything up then pack it, then hang your clothes up on the other end) this bag is all you need. On a trip a few weeks ago, I packed 6 days-worth of clothes, including a suit and a change of shoes, into the main compartment without extending it. I put my 3-1-1 (toiletry bag) in the side pocket with my itinerary and placed this bag in the overhead. Without the suitcoat, I could have gotten a laptop in there too. As was, I was able to carry a “pad” and a few small souvenirs or snacks in the side pouch. If you carry curlers or a blow dryer, though, you will only get 2-3 days-worth in there. Also, pack evenly or the bag may be off balance when standing.Empty weight: 5.5 poundsLength from wheels to top of extended handles: 42”Outside pockets: 1 (the other zipper is to expand the capacity)Are the wheels removable? NoWill a laptop fit in the front pocket?: No, but an iPad will. How many total wheels? 4Can I use a TSA padlock?: Yes

Lightweight & great for international travel
I bought this set for a trip from MN to Japan this spring. I don’t travel often and didn’t feel like dropping a huge amount of money, but I also have unrealistic expectations of everything going wrong (cue images of zippers ripping apart, bags flying open, handles and wheels cracking off, etc etc). With these semi-opposing thoughts in mind, I did a lot of research on various options until I had it narrowed down. This set was the winner for me based on size and weight, and ended up being perfect! Some highlights:- Sturdy but lightweight. There were no issues with any part of the luggage traveling internationally, and it’s lightweight enough that I wasn’t concerned with my bags going over the weight limit for checked luggage.- Spinner wheels have held up great so far and are SO CONVENIENT. If you haven’t had luggage with spinner wheels, please try them. It was so ridiculously easy to glide through the busy airport and train stations.- All the pieces fit together nicely. They arrived nestled together like a trio of boring, useful Russian dolls. On my way to Japan, I fit everything I needed for 13 days into the medium bag (25″) and put the medium bag in the large bag (29″). When I got to my destination I only had one large piece of luggage to worry about, and I got to go home with an entire suitcase full of goodies.Other notes:- My cat decided these are really cool and fun to scratch, and after about 5 days of daily claw use there wasn’t any major damage.- The handle doesn’t feel like the sturdiest thing in the world. I’m pretty short, so to drag the 29″ bag around I didn’t need to extend the handle at all. The others I have been careful with, but I haven’t really encountered any extendable handles that have felt extremely durable, so who knows.- I do wish there were more pockets, either on the front or back or inside, but I really enjoy pockets and compartments and having my things organized, so that’s just a personal preference and didn’t ruin my life.Overall, these are great pieces of luggage and I’m looking forward to using them more. They may not be a lifelong investment, but they do seem like they’ll hold up for at least a dozen more long trips.

A very good piece of luggage for the price.
This is a basic suitcase like the name implies but it’s well built and has plenty of room. Nothing fancy but it’s a good spinner and has a couple pockets for holding slim or delicate items. The price is right and the one I ordered had damaged packaging so I got another discount for that reason. When the box arrived, only the exterior packaging was slightly damaged and the suitcase was perfect. Now that’s a super deal. I immediately ordered the 18″ carryon for my trip and both held up just fine. No broken zippers, dents, or tears — so far, so good. I’d give the suitcase 5 stars based on price but it’s still new suit and I’m not sure how it will hold up in the long run.

Initial thoughts on unboxing + UPDATE!
An important note: I just got this yesterday. Haven’t brought it on any trips yet. This is also my first time getting rolling luggage for carry-on. That being said, here’s what I have to say after a first look, quick testing, and measurements:Exterior: Outside of the luggage looks great, material seems to be durable (at least enough for carry-on rather than being thrown into checked luggage). Outside zipper for things you might need easy access to. Second zipper allows for some expansion – I would say about or less than an inch? It’s a little hard to tell. Third zipper opens the main compartment of the luggage – has an option for a lock if you want to use one, but does not come with one included. One handle on the top and one on the side for carrying. Wheels roll just fine on smooth wood and also on an area rug with texture.Exterior Measurements: This was what I was most worried about. I got the 21″ luggage and (measured with wheels included) got measurements ~20.5×14.5×9. I tried overstuffing the main compartment with pillows and blankets, and I think if you don’t expand the 2nd compartment, it will squish down enough to fit 9″. The handle extends about 17″ above the top of the luggage – I’m about 5’5″ and this is at a comfortable height, slightly shorter than elbow height. The wheels are about 3″ tall.Inside: Zippered section on the inside of the flap. Buckled straps to hold/compress your stuff. The diagonal measurement of the inside of the actual storage area is about 21″. It was a bit hard to take these measurements since the inside liner material doesn’t take the exact form of the shell of the luggage, but as flat as I could get it at the floor of the whole space, I got around 18″×14″×7″ (7″ depth at the very top, you can overstuff it a bit and it’ll still zip closed). Like others have said, the main compartment does not take advantage of the space/area between the wheels.I’m excited to try this, as the last trip I took, I was lugging my duffel bag over my shoulder for a couple miles, and I really don’t want to mess up my back somehow. Hope this works out! Will be sure to post an update when I do get some travel time in with it.UPDATE: Just took this on a 10-day trip, and oh man I should have gotten this way sooner. It was a great size for the overhead compartment on Southwest – it was able to fit in the compartment either sideways or with the handle sticking out towards the aisle no problem. This luggage, combined with the compression packing cubes I bought, held everything I needed + more (I’m still struggling with packing light!). It seems that every so often the wheels will want to drift a slightly different direction, but it’s not a problem if you just hang onto the handle. Overall, I am very happy with this suitcase, and am so glad I don’t have to worry about running around with a heavy duffel slung over one shoulder anymore!

Sloping tops are a design flaw
The nylon fabric covering is slippery and the tops of the cases (where the handles come out) are sloped toward the floor so you can’t stack anything (like a handbag or a water bottle or another case) on top – unless you can latch it to the handle – and even then it may stay, but still slides around. Just SO annoying not to have that convenient little shelf to rest things on when you always have your hands full at the airport. The jury is still out on durability as we’re only one round trip out so far. The wheels are excellent, but the handles feel a bit flimsy when the bag is full. I also miss those little zippered pockets usually found inside the bottoms of each case. But I was very happy with the price and weight and they can be nested when empty. I wanted black but could only order them in navy at the time, and just hope they won’t get stained and scuffed. Oh and on one of the larger jets, the carry-on had to be turned sideways so the overhead bin would close. The flight attendant was rather rude about that.

Have had for 6 years and love it
I bought this suitcase in June 2018, and it’s been on long-haul and short flights. I’ve used it for 2 day trips and 2+ week trips, and it somehow holds everything I need. I rarely check a bag anymore. Never had an issue with it fitting in an overhead bin, and it’s held up very well. No issues with the zipper or wheels. Basic pockets function well. I love this bag and hope they keep making this style because I like to put everything in on one side, vs the half/half style of the hard shell suitcases.

Suitcase
I bought the basic large suitcase and it’s a good size. On the front is one large zipped pocket which I don’t care for. I would rather have a small zipped pocket on the top and a larger zipped pocket on the bottom. Suitcase seems sturdy enough. Rolling wheels work well.

Good suitcase but wouldn’t nest
I ended up returning this suitcase. Years ago, I had bought the smaller sized suitcase in this set. It’s a great suitcase and I really like it. So, I wanted to buy the larger one. Unfortunately, the smaller one I already owned wouldn’t fit inside this suitcase. The other suitcase I had was smaller but too wide to fit inside this one. I don’t have storage room for two large suitcases that won’t fit inside one another so I had to return this one. Other than that, these suitcases are great.

Wouldn’t recommend for frequent use
Nice sz carry that holds a lot but i purchased the item used for a few months and then my handle broke. Went back and purchased it again bc I loved the sz and the price was price was pretty but I guess you get what you pay for because the handle just broke again.. I spoke to an Amazon rep that told that since it didn’t happen within 30 days they can’t replace it and the item has no warranty….this sucks!!

Perfect For kids
Used this bag for a 3 night trip to Orlando waterpark and this was perfect for my 7 and 10 year old. It was easy for them to maneuver throughout the airport.

OK am sure you are wondering if this little thing truly deserves 5 stars? The answer is YES – I am a simmered traveler and I was looking for an EU approved carry on that was not heavy for my elderly parents. I honestly did not expect this carry on to have all these advantages: It is light weight (I have a Samsonite and it is VERY heavy) – I was able to pack 3 changes of clothes, their medication, and books etc. The most important thing is that it was not heavy at all. Compared with my mini samsonite where I could barely pack anything in addition to my laptop and light summer change of clothes, this Amazon basic was a gem.Now I don’t expect it to last but will update you – so far they used it twice – and my mom even rests her legs on it while waiting to board. The only slight issue might come from the handle – it is made of light metal so maybe it will give in with time? Don’t know – but really i still can’t believe it is so cheap my carry on was close to $200Amazon Basic is perhaps not the sexiest logo but if you’re picky about that … well take a chance on this little gemBon Voyage

AmazonBasics Carry-On Spinner Suitcase – 18 Inch *Good Value*
Ordered it, like it, and here are my impressions.Measured sizes: 13″ wide, 9″ deep (can squish to 7″ unloaded), 18″ tall including wheels, 15″ tall excluding wheels. Handle extends to 41″ above floor, with a shorter detent/stop at 39″. I am 6’4 and either height is good for rolling with 4 wheels, and 41″ is best for pulling. Handle has a little wobble to it, but it is better than most and feels sturdy to me. The wheels are a little better made than most, so I expect them to hold up pretty well. The bag is a little heavier than most this size, and the material is stiffish and seems like it is taking the normal abuse very well. There are hand grips on both the top and side of the bag to carry or lift the bag. The outer pocket is not padded to good, and the flap is stiff but is able to hold several items. This is about the smallest 4 wheeled “roller” bag that I could find. This bag is well made, and for it’s price is a good small spinner carry on bag.

Overall a great rolling suitcase
The spinner wheels are very smooth, and getting through airports is a breeze with this rolling suitcase. My only complaint is that the short handle on the top of the suitcase is positioned right where my laptop case sits on the suitcase after I slide it through the telescoping handle. Because the short handle protrudes, and because there is a slight downslope on the top of the suitcase, there is not a secure place for my laptop bag to sit on the suitcase, so it slides forward off the suitcase and awkwardly clings to the telescoping handle. I’ve had other rolling suitcases where the top is flat, and I haven’t had problems with my laptop bag staying put.

The worst part is all she had was two pairs of …
Bought this as a gift for my grandmother who was traveling to see my brother. She had bought a luggage from 1966 to my home. It was one of those old, huge luggage that you practically need a crane to move around. The worst part is all she had was two pairs of jeans, a dress pants, several casual shirts and one fancy shirt, a couple of underwear, socks, bra and a pair of shoes. Everything else was in her purse. I bought this a few days before she left to my brothers house and she managed for fit all of that plus her ipad and her medications in the luggage comfortably. I also got her a smaller purse so that she wouldn’t be dragging so many things around. The best part is that it goes in the overhead compartment of the plane so she doesn’t have to wait around after her plane lands to get her luggage. I highly recommend this to anyone who is going on a short trip or who simply travels light. It is durable, simple and efficient. It looks nice too and the wheels are just an added plus. You don’t have to lean it if you don’t want to and you can just ride it along in front or beside you. It is perfect!

Zipper broke
The sizes of these luggages are off, they are small and the quality is not great, after just about a year and 1-2 trips the zipper broke.

REALLY GREAT SET OF WELL MADE SUITCASES FOR LOTS OF ROOM AND NICE PRICE
This is a great set of well made (roller and handle) suitcases. I have been so used to packing for trips in a tactical or duffel style case that I had forgotten how important it is to have enough room (set of 3) for longer trips that can be rolled and directed with a strong handle. Of course you have to deal with the many TSA and airport rules as well. This set of strong fabric with TSA lock abilities; is amazing for the price. Really a great deal for someone like me who has a million cases but not a nice set of travel friendly mobile suitcases that are really important when going through airports and the constant changes in carry on cases and those that you check in. I can honestly say that I packed a serious amount items easily with the 3 different sized cases. The main (largest) case is able to handle much more than I imagined. With a nice set of this style suitcases going for twice the price (or at least significantly more money); I think this is one of the real winners in The AmazonBasics quality line of so many different things.

Impressed thus far
I have struggled finding the right fit of luggage for the frequent travel I do. (All within the US.) I wanted the options of sizes depending on short or longer trips, and these gave me that at a great price. Face it, even the most expensive luggage takes a beating. I prefer the “lid” opening of these soft sides as they’re easier to open in tight spaces. Last week I took the middle sized piece and had more than enough room for a full week & it held up great through several legs and plane changes. It still looks new! (I have the navy…a bit easier to spot on the luggage belt.) Next week is just a two-day & I’ll take the smaller carry-on for that. When I need meeting materials, the largest size should be ideal for that. They roll well and I like that they fit inside each other for storage. I also bought the “underseat” piece that matches though I haven’t used it yet.

Carry on luggage
Was the perfect size and I use it on my current trip love the interior. The exterior and the rolling of the cart could have been four wheels, but it was perfect.

Sturdy checked spinner bag
This suitcase replaced a much more expensive similar one which did not last long. I’m a frequent traveler, and value it’s ease of motion, light weight, string handles and outer fabric. The inner fittings are limited.

SMALL carry on
Ordered suitcase for Europe trip but it is a VERY small carry on luggage. Also after opening box to check out the piece of luggage (while the carry on was wrapped in plastic) the wheels appeared as if they had been used and/or rolled around on an outside surface. I only opened the carry on and placed it on a counter so the wheels never even touched my carpeted floor.

Lightweight but a little small
Lightweight but it’s a little small. I could bring a carry on with more items in the plane

Initial impression is these are decent bags, but only time will tell.
I just received this set, so no idea how well they will hold up to baggage handlers at the airports and cruise lines, but my initial impression is this is decent luggage, especially for the price. For anyone that may want to know the actual overall sizes of the three pieces, including wheels and handles, here they are. Large(29″) is 30 inches tall x 17.25 inches wide x 12 inches deep. Medium(25″) is 25.5 inches tall x 16 inches wide x 10.5 inches deep. Small(21″) is 21 inches tall x 14.25 inches wide x 9 inches deep. Those are un-expanded depths. You can add approximately an inch to the depth of all three if you unzip the expansion zipper. All are 40.5 inches tall with the telescoping handles extended. The only one of the three guaranteed to pass U.S.domestic size requirement for carry-on luggage is the Small, but my wife, who generally flies a couple times a year, has an old soft side carry-on that is 24T x 15W x 11D and she has never had an issue with it fitting in overheads on the planes she has flown on, so the Medium bag may squeeze by. She does usually gate check her old bag though, because she is short and has trouble getting it in the overhead bins. Anyway, I hope you all find this info useful. Only time will tell how durable this luggage is. The telescoping handles seem decent enough. My guess is the wheels will be the weakest link, they aren’t top quality, but we’ll see. By the way, they do nest inside each other. I also ordered the extra small, which is due tomorrow. I’ll post a similar review on it when it comes. The 18 inch Extra Small Bag: Apparently I can’t post a separate review on it, so I’ll just add to this review. Same impressions as the 3 piece set. The dimensions including wheels and handles are 18.5 inches tall x 13.25 inches wide x 9.25 inches deep. Check out my review of the matching Amazon Basics Underseat bag as well.

SMALLER THAN OTHER REVIEWERS PORTRAY. Manufacturer description more accurate.
21-inch carry on review TLDR version: Meets expectations for decent value 1 to 2 day carry-on bag.Basically reviewing this because it’s difficult to really gauge the carry-on capacity without seeing it.Some more popular reviews misled my expectations of how big the carrying space would be for this 21″ luggage, as “larger than expected” or lengthy trips well beyond 2 days. I personally believe the manufacturer description is spot-on accurate and space sized for a 1-day or 2-day business trip alone where you can fit a few changes of clothes and maybe a pair of shoes, small toiletries, and a few other miscellaneous items really. If I was told to design a carry-on to maximize how much stuff I could pack into a bag and still call it a carry-on, this would not be it. My previous carry-on was designed to maximize what I could carry, but still be considered a carry-on by most US airlines (excluding some of the stingy nickel-and-dime ones). This 21 inch bag is definitely is sized in a way so most airlines will accept the dimensions as a carry-on, rather than maximizing what you can fit and risking exceeding carry-on dimensions. I did like the wheels 360 rotation spin, but the wheels elevate the bag a few inches like a platform instead of the bag contouring around the wheels to maximize the carrying capacity allowed — so the space between the wheels is non-functional dead space.Hopefully, this helps someone else out there decide and if it did please click as “helpful”. Because I feel like the only ones that gain attention are the extreme 5 or 1 stars and they tend to be a little skewed/biased, and quite honestly, I thought this product was alright but just misled by other reviews. Ultimately had to return this before using for flight, as I needed a larger carry-on for my travels.

Perfect for Europe Travel
I bought 2 of these bags. One was really sturdy but the other bag, one of the wheels wasn’t too good. I think when it was checked in the bag handlers must’ve tossed it bad. That’s when it changed. Really sucks when they mishandle bags. In any case, we were happy with it and it had enough space for what we needed for our travels.
