Really exciting

I got these for my twins for Christmas and they were a hit! The eggs really do crack and hatch on their own. It’s exciting for the kids. Mine did not have the patience to wait until they fully cracked, so they basically opened the eggs with their hands once there was a crack. The unicorns inside are pretty and adorable. Fun affordable giftable toy.

Takes too long!
I got it when we had some kids over. I thought the growth would start to happen that same day. It is now the second day and the shell still hasn’t opened! It says it could take up to 7 days. It was anti-climatic!

Would not recommend…
Bought these for my girls for their Christmas stockings and have multiple issues with them. First, in the directions it says you must submerge the eggs completely in water in order for them to hatch, yet it takes at least 15 minutes of physically holding the eggs down in the water to get them to sink enough that they are fully submerged. Second, once the unicorns hatch and you take them out of the water, they feel very slimy. My girls have had them out for several days and they are still waterlogged and slimy. Lastly, several of the six unicorns, upon being fully grown, are unable to stand up on their own like the others. The legs did not fully “develop” and they just fall down when propped up.Overall, not at all impressed with these.
