One of my favorite sets
I got this quite a while ago and wanted to wait to write the review to see how I would feel about it later and this is honestly still one of my favorite sets I’ve built. The attention to detail, from the tuning pegs, to the guitar pick, to the wires inside the back of the amp, to the guitar strap and stand, honestly everything. You’ll have so much fun with this build and the final product is just art in itself. Also the guitar stand has had a second function for me as a phone stand for when I’m watching videos or playing games on my phone.

Great Gift!
I bought it as a gift for one of my friends, and he likes it a lot. He said it took him about 4-5 hours to assemble due to the abundance of small pieces that can get lost easily. However, he said he enjoyed himself and found the experience relaxing.

Great Set!
As a fan of both Fender and Lego, I decided to treat myself to this set and let me tell you I was not disappointed! You get to build your own Lego amp from inside out and you “string” your Lego guitar board. The booklet also provides some history about Fender and the Stratocaster which is neat. Two color options for the body is also a plus as you can switch it up any time you like. Overall it’s a great set for music and Lego lovers alike, it’s fun to build and looks great on display. I would recommend this set to anyone who love music or just needs something to do!

One beautiful set, so much detail. The price may look high, but what you get is everything there plus the bricks. To build it red or black your choice. Or switch them from red to the black, or have some fun make every other brick red then black that be fun. Lol.The tricky part was the top of the Neck they put it on a hinge, so it pops off to easily, i glued it in place. The only part I don’t understand why there was a reason for it. It should be sold, easy fix a drop of glue. The white nobs blended into it to much for me so I played with others the gray I love best for me. Brown I but on the peddle.The one thing the most important of all. This set is made for 18+ years old.I thing I may suggest to lego. I know I love and sure many more people. To sell just neck , stand , the parts need to now have two red and black fenders side by side. We got everything. To do it but mansion parts.Meg’s

Small, easy but cool.
We thought this set would be way bigger than the actual size… My son thought this was a really easy and cool Lego set. He’s 19 and is getting into more adult like Legos. He got it done in less than an hour. Cool thing is you can do either red or black color.

Pretty cool
As with all Lego sets, attention to detail is remarkable. Although it’s not immediately visible, the amp speaker is part of the set, along with the amp electronics, vacuum tubes, etc. Set is designed so you can pull off parts of the amp to see these components inside. Set comes with either red or black guitar body parts. Great conversation piece in my home office.

Great gift!
I bought this as a gift for my nephew, and he loved it. The box wasn’t in the best shape, but it did travel for about a week overseas. And no pieces missing! He had a great time putting it together and liked the fact that it came with two color options for the guitar. The only thing he didn’t really like was that the top part of the amp isn’t attached to anything at all and would sometimes slide off. Overall, he gives it a 4.5/5!

Fun but not that challenging

Super fun build
One thing I was not clear on was that you can’t just swap one body color for the other. You have to decide which color you want when you build it.In theory, that sounds like a fun idea, but now I can’t even complete the other half because it requires some of the shared pieces. I wish they would have included enough pieces so you could at least complete the other body. Better yet, I’d love it if I could buy all the missing pieces so that I could have two complete guitars.Other than that complaint, it’s a fun build… especially if you play guitar.

Smaller than it looks on the box, but great detail
The packaging isn’t misleading. But the item looks so great on the box, it gives the illusion of being much larger when you build it. But of course, come on, it’s a Lego set. It’s not going to be a full-sized guitar.The guitar itself looks great, but the amp is the secret surprise. Especially when the cover pops off, and you can see all the detail inside.

My 9 year old son built this with his grandmother

Looks as real as Legos could possibly make it!
Actually I purchased this for my 15 yr old grandson & I to assemble together. BUT, I just managed to get in the way! (I’m good for that! lol!) He had this completely assembled-guitar & amp-in 2 hours and was constantly commenting on how “awesome” it was.His biggest issue was deciding which color to make it. Ultimately, he went with black. Personally, I was impressed with the details and the guitar strap.:)

Best Set Ever!
My son wanted this so bad and I gotta say……. wasnt disappointed!The details on this, even ones you cant see unless you open up the speaker are amazing. The instructions were clear and you can make either a black or red guitar (both colors included). Super fun project and solid construction. Definite must for any music lover!
