    More Beautiful In Person!

I kind of bought this on a whim because I saw it in a store in person and regretted not getting it. I’m so happy I did!! It’s gorgeous and the butterfly wings can flap and everything. I absolutely love this Lego series and I really hope they keep making more. Absolutely worth the money!!!

    LEGO Ideas, The Insect Collection

I bought this for my son’s 9th birthday and it is stunning. The most beautiful Lego set I have seen in a while. The completed product is beautiful, though my picture taking skills may not justify it but my son loved making this. He is only 9 yrs old but he completed this in 6 hours and was proud of it. I highly recommend to young Lego fan 🙂

    Great gift

This was a gift for my daughter who loves both bugs and lego so it was a win win. It was good value for money as it has over 1100 pieces.

It was a hit with my Grandson.

It is still up. All put together. Yesterday, (this is May) he showed me how the pieces come from other models. He has them on display on the coffee table in the living room.

    I LOVE THEM!

These were so much fun to make, it took me about 8 hours to do all 3 and it made for a fun day off work. I love the different plant sets as well but I’m hoping they make some more bugs.

    Fun, cute, easy to build

I gave these to my adult daughter for Christmas 2023 she started building them the same day! She has other Lego Flowers. These are a little big to go in with her orchids and wildflowers, but she just put them on a different shelf. It’s a relaxing activity. Good for keeping your fingers nimble I guess; the pieces are pretty small. The directions are clear and easy to follow. Once you get the hang of it, made a nice gift.

    Best LEGO set ever

If anyone gives this less than 5 star they are crazy. Our kids built over 100 LEGO sets over the years. This is by far the coolest looking. This is my favorite of all time.Although it is an adult set, our 10 year old had no problem building all 3 in one evening with no assistance. We have them on display in prominent areas of the house, these insects are works of art.I’m thinking of buying more to give as gifts. This is a set that people will remember.

Gift for a 12 year old took him several hours. Very detailed , even has tiny lady bugs. Cute to display would be a good gift for a child or adult. Directions were simple. Some parts of the bugs actually move.

    Awesome display piece!

Just finished putting this set together and I love it! I hope Lego continues to have more like this! I’m sure there could be a lot more in the “insect collection” category!Right now, I have it paired nicely with the brand new kingfisher bird – they look great together!I really do love the nature and botanical Lego sets – they work so well as actual home decor too (unassuming Lego sets if you will). Love it!

    Great product!

I absolutely adore the LEGO Ideas The Insect Collection set! As a nature lover and LEGO enthusiast, this kit has been a fantastic addition to my collection. The highlight of this set is, without a doubt, the life-size Blue Morpho Butterfly. The attention to detail is remarkable, and it’s astonishing to see this beautiful insect recreated in LEGO bricks. The colors are vibrant, and the intricate design captures the essence of the butterfly perfectly. It’s a true work of art and a testament to LEGO’s commitment to quality and creativity. The set also includes several other insect models, each with its unique charm. From the colorful dragonfly to the intricate scarab beetle, building these insects was a fun and educational experience. The instructions are clear, and the pieces are well-organized, making the building process enjoyable and stress-free.What I appreciate most about this set is its educational value. It’s a fantastic gift for nature lovers of all ages, as it not only provides an enjoyable building experience but also serves as an excellent educational tool. You can learn about these fascinating insects and their role in the natural world while having a blast building them.Additionally, the display stand included in the set allows you to showcase your creations beautifully. It’s a conversation starter and a source of pride for any LEGO collector. In summary, the LEGO Ideas The Insect Collection set is a delightful gift for nature enthusiasts, LEGO fans, and anyone who appreciates the beauty of the natural world. It combines the joy of building with the wonder of nature, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Highly recommended!

LEGO Ideas Insect Collection: Bug-tastic Fun!

For your consideration: My 2 cents on the LEGO Ideas The Insect Collection. My Lego-obsessed teenage daughter bought this while I was on vacay and assembled it in 2 nights. So, here’s the buzz about this bug-tastic adventure!First: The Blue Morpho Butterfly. It’s like having a tiny entomologist’s dream on your shelf. Those wings with their fancy blue shades and cute white dots? LEGO made this butterfly look like it’s ready to fly away – but don’t worry; it won’t. Plus, it comes with a honeybee and a flower because every butterfly needs a little bumblebee bestie!Next: The Hercules Beetle. This thing is big, like “I’m-going-to-need-a-bigger-shelf” big. You can even attach wings to it, just in case it decides it wants to fly, but we all know beetles are more into crawling. And those horns? It’s like the bug version of having a snazzy set of antlers. While it may seem a little creepy, it’s actually adorable. And he comes off of his little perch!Last but not least: The Chinese Mantis – the Praying Mantis with a bit of a diva attitude. This model is so detailed; you might start worrying it will start bossing around the other LEGO sets. It even comes with a 7-spotted ladybug sidekick because even mantises need a trusty sidekick, right? I have to say, the Mantis is my personal fave! The practical: Each model has its own set of instructions. And there’s a booklet with insect facts, because, well, you never know when you’ll be challenged to a bug trivia showdown, right? The LEGO Ideas Insect Collection was a slam dunk. It’s a fun, creative way to explore the world of insects right from the kitchen table. Trust me; it’s a winner! And hey, who knew bugs could be this entertaining, huh? 🐞🦋🐜

    YES YES YES

Exactly like in the stores, perfect, cutest set ever, no pieces missing and even if they were you can send a message to LEGO and they’ll send you that piece or two that you’re missing in return, perfect for a gift and keeps your hands busy with the outcome of a beautiful decor piece

    Very enjoyable

Some kits when you place a tile it’s obvious what it will be, these bugs were like a super puzzle, there are so many little bits and pieces that come eventually together to create a bug. And they are all good looking, the beetle has translucent wings, the other two are also very colorful. The settings are beautiful with the plants and flowers. The beetle has two larvae that look like tiny croissants, I really hope they will not hatch.I wish I could take tour of a Lego factory, do they have robots counting each tile and put the right number in each little bag?

Im a studying entomologist (I study insects) and I saved up to order this set… it did NOT disappoint. Each build is posable and can be changed and moved into infinite designs. The manual is clear and consistent, as usual with any LEGO set. I really hope they make more of these, they are absolutely the coolest thing I’ve purchased in a while!

    Absolutely beautiful

Fantastic and colorful. The Hercules beetles wings dont fold up, they come off, so it can be displayed with wings away. I put them with my bonzai, bouquet, and succulents sets. It adds an extra splash of color, and an outdoorsy feel to the set.
