    Disappointed!

I read a lot of reviews… this tv is sub par when it comes to gaming! I bought a Hisense 8 and its only flaw was that in the top left part of the screen it had a slight flicker. I sent it back and paid the extra to get this “great” tv. NOT impressed! I’m sending this back for a newer model of the Hisense 8. Just FYI…. The Hisense 8 blows this tv out of the park. Especially at gaming! If your preference is a dull rich color this may be the tv for you. If you want a brighter detailed higher performance image get something else besides this. See you in MW3!

    Great LED TV

First of all, my thanks to Beach Camera for fast delivery and great box in a box packing. The 55 inch LG QNED85AQA TV itself works perfectly the way it should. Easy to set up with help from YouTube to get the right levels of your personal choice and viewing. Hoping this lasts a long time. Would not hesitate to buy from Beach Camera again.

    Should have done 65, but..

Ok, I probably should have done some measuring and gone with 65, as I was upgrading from a 55. Although, after getting it on the wall and setting things up to watch my first movie – “White Christmas”, well, the dance scenes were like being right next to them. I watch mostly 4K based movies, either purchased online or through my Plex – and this TV renders them beautifully! I went through setup recommendations from several online reviews to get best picture and it really makes a different! Did I pay a bit too much? Maybe. I could have probably got the 65 OLED for same price, but I love my movies and those 10″ do make a difference.

    Great TV

The ladies that delivered the TV was professional, courteous, had it set up in no time. Never used a curser on a TV before, I was skeptical. This remote is one of the best. It controls the surround sound very well, gives fast access to streaming channels, and all the information on the TV.We love our choice for this TV.

    Not a good smart TV

I have always liked LG equipment. I have owned 3 phones and my last TV was a much cheaper LG smart TV. It is very important to me that it is fully DLNA compatible, this includes AVI and MP4 containers, my last TV from LG did this without a problem. To my surprise my new 1600.00 dollar LG can not play AVI files which I have several hundred of. If I had bought this locally it would be going back. THE WEBOS store has no version of VLC or any other program that would solve my problem, at least with Google you can side load if you need to. I guess I will have to buy some sort of android box to get the functionality that I need.To be fair it has a stunning picture and I like the magic remote.

Great looking screen, perfect for a bedroom tv

I researched quite a bit and found that this model was good not only at various angles of viewing, but in a dark room. Since it was a replacement for a bedroom tv, it seems like a good choice. So far, so good!

It lived up to my expectations.

I haven’t owned a TV set for nearly a decade, since I watch most of my programs via computer. But with the advent of high refresh rate MiniLED screens, I began considering a purchase since I figured it would be something I could stream to without having to jump through a bunch of hoops. Setup was painless, and I was amazed to discover that under certain settings, it manages to serve as a decent enough computer display that I can just plug the media center directly into it rather than chain it along as a second screen. Well done.

    Extreme Blooming

The picture quality is generally good, but the blooming is horrible. On a black screen with a small amount of white text, there is a cloud over a quarter of the screen at the time. It looks fine in bright scenes but for games with loading screens, or movie/tv credits, or other simple dark screens it is very distracting and makes me regret spending so much on this. I raised the black level and completely turned off local dimming and it seems better because at least there isn’t such a contrast between the glowing cloud and the black background. The local dimming does more harm than good in dark scenes.

    Impressed with picture quality

This set came inline with features and price point. I do a lot of 4K streaming and the response and color is on point. There will be some tweaking needed as out of the box things are drab and require some tinkering. It took about six weeks and I am happy with the results.

    Bright vivid beautiful picture

Surprisingly good audio. GUI design is excellent. Perfect blacks with hard to notice haloing. Great for 4k 120hz gaming. AI upscaling makes 720p Netflix look like 4k. Insanely bright. Built in Bluetooth and device pass through audio on wifi are really useful when the house needs to be quiet.

    Broken on delivery

My dream of a 55” LG tv became my nightmare after waiting for my son to arrive and open my new tv. Ontrac delivered a broken and useless piece of technology. The bottom corners were smashed and the screen was cracked on all four sides. $1000 dollars of junk. Not the seller, the shipper or Amazon took responsibility for my loss. I will never buy expensive tech online again. FYI

    Not so happy

Had the tv for a little over two months. Picture and sound are great. I do not like the remote at all. It is too complex, Alexa has a problem completing commands, and app useage is most cumbersome. I can’t imagine using this tv for several years as I have with others.

Every time I change channels I have to tweak the color

It’s a good tv, but it would be nice if it carried another instructional DVD to calibrate the colors. Right now I have to tweak the colors each time I change channel The E-ARC HDMI channel is on no 2 slot while the HDMI 2.1 channels are on the 3 and 4 HDMI slots. There are a lot more software controls on this TV than my previous 2017 SJ8500.

The media could not be loaded.

So far amazed at this tv. Waiting on new head unit and height speakers to complete my upgrade to experience full atmos! I do want to share couple of issue’s I experienced though for the next person. When going from an old none 1080p display upgrade your hdmi’s to 8k@60hz 4k@120hz with 48 Gbps data transfer trust me it makes all the difference also neither my xbox series x or ps5 would let me turn on or use allm or vrr until i did a hard reset on either console and you need to disable the hdmi cec setting on tv and both consoles before doing a reset notice you wont loose your games but you will have to download and update apps and resign in to everything afterwards this finally did get both my xbox series x and ps5 to finally recognize that my new display now supported everything fyi if your like me and carried over your old psvr from ps4 gen to your ps5 your hdmi setup will have to be recongfiged as well it is 1080p not 4k not happy about that but it is what it is just plug it back in when you want it I quess. Once I did all that everything works as it should full specs now as intended 4k@120 hdr dolby vision hdr10 allm vrr hgid it’s nice now can’t wait to finish my audio side now with full dolby atmos and dtsx hope my reveiw helps you next gen upgraders cause I couldn’t find any answers on ytube that helped me it took 2 days of aggravation to get it sorted out. Now go play on! And order an automatic hdmi switch your gonna need it for the 2.1 hdmi’s to run all your new tech Fyi i ordered the llano hdmi 2.1 four in one out 8k auto switcher and 2 rca to hdmi converters to convert and old ps2 and wii system to hdmi just to maintain usability since hdmi hookups is all the inputs the new lg qned85 has good luck

I’d give it 5 stars but ONE GLARING YOUTUBE BUG!

Besides my one huge problem, I absolutely love this tv. Love love love. Aside from this one issue I find it to be perfection. My YouTube purchased movie content will not play Above 480p! Utter ridiculousness!!!I’ve tried everything from contacting LG support to doing my own Google search. The Google search led me to many Reddit topics that claim the 2022 model has this YouTube bug in the firmware that no one seems to know how to fix. However, there are several workarounds but none of them include fixing the tv YouTube application itself. To get my desired maximum resolutions especially for my 4K content, I can go through my PS5. I expect it works with my Xbox as well although I have not tested it. I have heard other methods work like Smart View but I have not tested that either. So again, there are definite workarounds that aren’t too much of a pain but it’s still a huge disappointment that this issue has not been fixed yet.

    BLOOMING

So I got this TV because it has been rated as the next best thing to OLED. I have done a lot of research on this TV and this was the one I decided to go with. I didn’t go OLED because of my habits on my PC. I leave a lot of static images on and well, I would definitely be that person that had burn in images since this would be my primary PC monitor. Man am I disappointed…The TV I am replacing is a Samsung UN65MU800D. 2017 model. Main reasons were for eARC, VRR, 120hz.. you know.. what you want in a modern TV. But the tipping point was the fact that this TV had little to no blooming. One thing I couldn’t stand on my Samsung was the blooming.. the white halo around my mouse pointer was horrible in darker images.. If you can believe it, it is WORSE with this new tv.. even on the highest setting of local dimming.. I read a few forums about this and it seems a firmware update has caused this to get worse? Idk.. all I know is this somehow ended up being a worse issue on a new tv vs my old tv.. everything else is great… but this is a huge problem..Just a small update, I am in fact, returning this TV. I am going with the new TCL QM8. We have last years TCL 98 inch tv in the living room and there is virtually no blooming in the blacks and after seeing the new 2023 model I am sold on that. I am pretty disappointed because this tv has so many great features but the blooming is a deal breaker. The local dimming kills the contrast and it still does not help where as the local dimming on the TCL doesn’t actually need to be turned on at all. I was hoping this would be a great tv and it is.. but I can’t deal with the bad blooming issues. I also can’t chance waiting for a firmware update that fixes this or at least improves on it.

This unit has the features I was looking for

Even though this is a slightly older model and the new LG NanoCell/MiniCell TVs haven’t yet hit the market, this one has the features that interest me. I won’t get into it, but if you’re familiar with the key specs then you know what I mean. This set has a very nice picture and so much so that I purchased two. The second purchase was not because I wanted two, but because I came into the TV room one morning and the lower, right portion of the screen was cracked and half the picture was gone. How? Don’t really know, but the general consensus is that my two dogs weighing in at about a hundred pounds each were ‘horse-ing’ around and made contact with the screen. So be it. The set is now installed about a foot and a half higher on the console cabinet. Hope that helps.

its a cheaper alernative to oled

its a good tv. if you cant afford to go for the oled this works. It’s a heavy tv due to the led panels and the blooming people talk about is easy to get around. I which they have a better stand. I dont prefer the two little legs. The oled stands are nicer. Overall i’m happy with the purchase, but if you can do the oled do that instead. I have an oled as well and like it better. There is a weird bug with the wifi, but its easily fixed with a google search. Turn of your location from automatic to united states.

    Delivery instructions NOT followed. 😤

I am extremely disappointed by the delivery! I specified to leave the box inside the garage and included to code to open the door. Fortunately, I was able to leave work for 20 min to go drag it into the house so it wouldn’t get stolen. Granted, it wouldn’t be easy to steal considering its size and weight… but it’s a huge new LG tv and it was in plain sight right in front of my door. SheeshLove the tv though – really glad I got to it first.

    No Oled

I really love the quality of the picture it is a great gaming tv for my PS5 no blooming with everything I threw at it plus the refresh rate is 120hz great entry level tv…But it’s definitely no Oled…But the blacks are almost as rich as an Oled tv they did a great job upgrading the panel this year so it definitely outshines the 2021 models… All in all I’m impressed with this television definitely a great buy for the money!!

This tv when properly calibrated to your room is jaw dropping, games and movies have new life and I truly feel like this is the 4k experience I have been waiting for. Reflections are bad and had sound issues with other devices.

Very good picture as long as you are in the dark. In any semi-dark to dark scene I could see the reflection of my feet smack dab in the middle of the picture and my fan in the right side of the picture. It was kind of funny watching a spaceship shooting at my feet! LOL Also sound kept dropping out on my Apple TV 4K and Google Chromecast and Roku Ultra. Which is a shame because the picture looked really good at least in the dark. Had to return.

    GORGEOUS television!

Prior to this, I had a basic 65″ LG 4K Smart TV from 2018 that I’d originally thought was the greatest thing I’d ever seen. And it was beautiful and clear, but of course the blacks were never actually black because the light was always on and bleeding through. Last year, the wifi entirely failed and even the ethernet connection started acting funky this year. Some of the apps started getting laggy and didn’t want to work at all on the older version/style of webOS on this TV (I couldn’t even watch HBOMax on it, I always had to switch to my Xbox’s app). Thus, I started thinking of upgrading and a big bonus from work gave me the ability to do so without worrying much about cost.I’m SO glad I got this TV.The apps all work smoothly and there’s no hiccups with wired or wireless internet. There are SO MANY customization options for picture and sound and you can set them separately for different inputs or apply it across all of them if you find a set up you like. I mean, you can change between modes, brightness settings, AI settings, clarity settings, white and black balances, and even into things like sharpness and noise reduction. Too many options for me to even remember. My main changes have been turning Energy Saving off, Auto Dynamic Contrast to High and LED Local Dimming to High.My favorite things are (of course) the picture and the sound. The picture is GORGEOUS and the deep blacks are incredibly impressive. There’ve been times I’ve caught myself staring at the edges of the screen where a shadow or the black bar on the movie would seamlessly blend into the black bezel to the point where I genuinely couldn’t see where the screen ended and the bezel began. It was the first thing I started texting my friend about after I set up the TV! And when the screen is black, it’s BLACK. Not dark grey. Not bleeding in around the edges. Solid black. Now, because of how dimming zones work, there are cases where you might have something bright next to/inside something black, and you will see a bit of a halo around it. The size of this halo will depend upon your TV settings and how large/small the item is. I’ve attached some photos with examples. On the first, you can see a large halo around the big white box on the screen (which was visible in real life, but not even as drastic as it appeared on camera), but nothing around the magic mouse’s cursor at the top of the screen, and the surrounding black screen that takes up most of the screen is still black. In the second, you can see where the darkness at the top of the screen all goes to solid black and the black bar totally disappears, while on the bottom you can still see it due to that edge of the picture being brighter.Another picture-related thing that has really impressed me is how the screen captures reflective/shiny things like bits of metal or sequins or glass. I was watching a TV show where a character was constantly wearing clothes with chrome studs or holographic sequins, and the way they glittered and caught light was so REAL. In lower quality images, those kind of reflections will get crushed into just looking like a white spot, but no detail was lost in these reflections on this TV.And for those worried about angles, my couch is off to the side instead of directly in front of the TV and I’ve noticed no difference in the picture. Even right next to the side of the TV and staring straight across it, the image and colors never fade or look any different. Then for the sound part I mentioned, it also has a lot of customization options just like the picture and you get to choose between different sound modes and different outputs. Mine’s currently on the AI Sound Pro mode and I have it set to output to Optical Out Device + TV Speaker. I had used my LG soundbar with my previous TV and carried it over to this one, and I’d never seen the option to use both before. I love it! It can sound a little strange if you don’t balance the volumes correctly, but I’ve found keeping the soundbar volume 2 clicks higher than the TV speakers works really well. I find having the extra speakers give a lot of the sound effects a more nuanced sound. The deeper sounds really come through my soundbar/subwoofer, while the lighter ones come through the TV. There’s this added feeling of sounds moving around without having a better sound set up, thanks to the extra set of speakers beyond my soundbar. Without the soundbar, the built in speakers are great for a TV. They’re just not as “deep.”If I had to nitpick and complain about something, it would probably only be the scroll wheel/select button the Magic Remote. It could be that I’m just not used to it yet (my previous LG TV did not come with a Magic Remote) or that my nails having grown out a bit at the moment are getting in the way, but it’s not always the most comfortable to click. I often end up trying to press it and I’ll press the ring around it at the same time. That or I’m trying to press it to select something and the wheel scrolls and switches to cursor mode instead. I would’ve preferred the scrolling and selecting being two separate buttons, but honestly it’s not a deal breaker and it doesn’t behave weirdly often enough that I want to replace it with something else. It’s actually a really cool innovation to be able to scroll or use it like a mouse on your TV!All in all, I really love the TV and I’m incredibly impressed (if you couldn’t already tell from the lengthy review). If you want to upgrade and you want to upgrade like I did, then I highly recommend it!

Incredible TV and Would Buy Again

Looked at A LOT of TVs for some time before landing on this one. Going into the research, we knew we wanted a 65″, smart TV. Started with the Frame and really liked the look but didn’t appreciate the softness when seeing it in person at Best Buy. OLED TVs were very expensive, but low cost LED/LCDs didn’t have the quality, we wanted either. We landed on this unit due to the technology and actually heard better longevity reviews over the more expensive OLEDs.The TV is big and came in an even bigger heavy box. We had a 55″ before but this is very large. The Amazon delivery person was great and dropped it right inside our house. The sound was terrible out of the box but using another setting made a huge difference. The base/sub is actually quite impressive. Its super bright for any room but we dontbhave many windows and had to turn it waaay down. Blacks are very dark which helps with higher contrast. Reflection is actually less than the “mirror” OLEDs. There’s also an impressive Apple TV build in to the TV allowing Apple devices to stream direct to the TV. With the smart TV apps, the only thing we have plugged in is a gaming console via HDMI. There are plenty of spare HDMI ports. If you can afford this TV you won’t be disappointed! If it’s outside your range there are plenty other options to fill the void of needing a TV.

    After Some Adjustments…

After doing a lot of research, this is the best TV at this price point. It is a mini LED and many compare the picture quality to an OLED. For me, it is better than an OLED because gets super bright, if that is what you need, and I do since it is in a room full of windows. It took some adjustments to get the picture just right, but once I reached the right ones, WOW…it is amazing.Adjustments to the picture:It has several preset pic settings, most of which are useless to me. I like a television’s picture, especially colors, to be as close to natural as possible with a little bit of saturation. Therefore, I was REALLY happy that it has Adobe color settings. This was by far the best way to tamp down the reds and make the colors much more accurate, especially orange.Brightness and clarity:I am absolutely shocked at how good the brightness is (without cranking it up) and the clarity / contrast. Much of this is aided by the fact that the blacks are really deep black. I’m really impressed with the miniLED’s ability to darken the screen deeply where needed. The remote is good, if you choose to control it that way. We have always used a Roku box, although you can download apps to the TV that may make this unnecessary. But we are married to the Roku operating system and especially the easy remote. So we disabled “auto start to home” so that it will default to turning on to the Roku input each time…and voila, you have a Roku TV. We never have to use the LG remote. Nice to have the ability to use only one. This was big for us because the other TV that I was considering was the TCL miniLED for that reason. But this LG is a MUCH better television than the TCL–in large part for the picture but also the ability to make WAY more adjustments to the picture than you can with the TCL. On this LG, you can fine tune EACH COLOR.4K looks amazing and some of the other high def programming is cleaned up nicely by this television. Some programming looks 4K when in fact it is not.One other feature that is a no-brainer and I am not sure why other companies don’t do this: the feet are adjustable. You can have them set out wide or narrower to work with almost any width table that you set it on.I am very happy with this television and glad that I was able to fine tune the pic settings to its best potential.

    Phenomenal Detail

I’ve purchased a few 55″ 4K LG/Samsung TVs in the past few years (and not because they were junk) and I have to say this particular one displays a level of detail like none of the others preceding it. They were all 4K TVs, but immediately after turning this on, it was clear this one represents a whole different level. It immediately made me wonder if my prior purchases were actually “1K, 2K, or 3K TVs” because the level of crisp detail was glaringly obvious – I now feel like I actually have a 4K TV… based on all the hype, THIS is what I was actually expecting… when I bought the first one. At this point, the colors/settings are all tweaked to my liking, which made it even better, but straight out of the box, I just had to watch a bit of something…I connected it to WiFi in a room where there had been no TV previously, launched NetFlix and started watching “The Old Guard”. (If the word immortals sparks your interest, that is a HIGHLY recommended movie.) About 45 minutes in, during the airplane scene, there was a chrome buckle on some webbing on the right side and I noticed the words on the buckle itself were quite easily read… huh… don’t remember seeing that… pause… over to each of the other 55″ TVs I go, launch, resume, rewind a bit, play… the words on the buckle appear to be there, yet I can’t read them… huh… all 3 TVs, same… back to this TV… yep, they’re definitely there (legible words). Ok, what’s the difference? Quick run through of the settings on the 4 TVs reveals what I thought… the settings are basically identical. Ok, so what’s the difference? The 3 TVs where I couldn’t read the words are all Internet connected via wired Gigabit Ethernet; this new TV is simply connected via wifi, so you would expect the source signal to be lower quality, yet the picture displays such crisp, phenomenal detail. So, what’s the difference? Must simply be this TV. The Mini-LED may have something to do with that.My opinion is the QNED85 class of the LG TVs is currently the “sweet spot”… very high quality for the kind of money you won’t wish you had invested instead. And if you’re like me and stopped buying Sony, then stopped buying Samsung, then this one might be ticket for you.

    Great panel!

I bought this now in 2024 with a sale price. I think this tv is great, very high quality of the picture, the system is smooth and fast and it includes all the online streaming that you would need. I was surprised by the depth of the blacks even if it’s not an OLED. 4 stars because unfortunately the sound quality as every other tv nowadays is not good enough especially with dialogues

    Dead on Arrival

Purchased on prime day from Amazon as the seller. Arrived in good condition and unboxed the week after receiving. DOA, No indication that power was being supplied to it (no lit LEDs, and remote control would not power it on). Tried multiple electrical power outlets with no success. checked with my Voltage Detector and there was power on the electrical cord at the entry point to the TV.Now after 2 weeks from being picked up by amazon they still have not processed the return refund.

    Not a bad tv

Picture quality is good. The operating system is absolutely terrible compared to google tv’s. Not a fan of the remote. Maybe I will get use to. But doubt it. An ok bedroom tv but that is about it.

Great TV! You can’t go wrong with LG

This TV is really great. It has great clarity. The remote and menus are very is easy to use and it has all the features you could ever want casting from an iPad or iPhone, laptop is very easy and the results are great if I wanted to be super critical, and maybe be a little bit unfair, this is extraordinarily heavy. I think it’s like 130 pounds. I’m fearful to use anything other than the LG special mounts to put this on the wall. I am currently constructing a small build out for a in wall fireplace and a beef up area to put these mounts so I can have it flushed to the wall. There may be people out there better at this than me, but I’m just a little fearful hanging such an expensive TV on the wall. Just my two cents please take this into consideration when purchasing.

    Great TV at a Discount

Bought the 55” for about half off. LG (non OLEDs) have a bad reputation, but this TV is great for most people. Is there blooming? Some. But the brightness, black levels (with dimming), and colors are objectively good. Software is fine, but better than Samsung. Good for gaming with 120fps & HDR. Came with a dent on the back but doesn’t affect the display. Overall good.

Sell your soul to watch TV

I have owned this TV for several months. The hardware seems to be fairly good, and the picture is very clear, but the software, in particular the operating system WebOS is very poor. It is unstable, and several of the apps (e.g. Sling) do not work well, occasionally failing and requiring complete restart, or just randomly blanking out for several seconds. The support for Bluetooth is almost non-existent, for example if you connect a bluetooth speaker you have no way to control the volume. But , the worst ting about the OS is that it tries for forced you to agree to 10-15 user agreements to use virtually any of the features on the TV. These are very broad user agreements, that basically lets anyone who wants to connect to your TV, spy on everything you do, and collect and sell your data to anyone they want. If you refuse to agree to this, your ability to use the TV is extremely limited, and it will constantly try to get you to go back and sign the agreement, sometimes taking you to the signup page at random times hoping you will click “select all” and agree. This TV should be free given the amount of personal information multiple companies will harvest and sell for profit. UPDATE 10/1/2023. LG’s implementation of Sling under their WebOS is amazingly poor, and recently AirTV (slings OTA interface and DVR) has also stopped working. In an attempt to access and record OTA programs, I connected the antenna directly to my LG TV. The user manuals and many online “how to” tutorials say the LG supports digital recording to a connected USB device . It turns out that this is a lie. No such capability exists . Again, I don;t know if Samsung or any other brand of TV is better than LG, but LG is a tremendous disappointment. I strongly recommend that you buy a different brand

Great replacement for old LED TV

This mini LED TV has been great so far. The blacks are very black and the colors are very vibrant but still very natural. There is no bleeding of white into the black areas of the screen, making it very enjoyable watching darker movie scenes. My son and daughter-in-law hooked up their video game on Thanksgiving and they had fun and the TV performed well – but I’m not a gamer. Our TV room has several windows and yet the picture is excellent. Even with a large number of people watching, the screen is excellent at viewing from the side, unlike our old HD LED where the colors faded when viewing from the sides.

Get used to all the picture settings.

Purchased the 86 inch QNED85. Was coming from a 4 year old Sony XBR of the same size. Wanted local dimming, wider color and Dolby vision support. Definitely get into your “calibrated” modes asap. Cinema, isf. The contrast on this is superb, as well as color volume. Make sure to choose local dimming in high for anything other than nighttime movies. Local dimming at medium blooms less for night movie watching but prioritizes bright white less than high, and is more natural. If lifting this, find several friends. It is more than a 2 person lift if wall mounting….trust me. The entire back is a sheet of steel. Build quality is best I have ever seen from LG. Also, support the bottom of the screen if you set it on a hard floor. There is a chin in the center with a power button etc that will deform if supporting the weight of the screen for very long. Still finding what this thing is capable of. Dynamic range of the image…huge! Cheers.

    SO this happened

This TV is great!!! The picture is fantastic (with a few adjustments). I use it for gaming as well. The remote is so so, not a fan of the mouse feature, but you just press a directional arrow to get out of it. Got a broken one from Amazon. Box wasn’t strapped on delivery. Some probably complained about this TV and returned it. Then when I bought a NEW TV, Amazon shipped this one to me. This clearly wasn’t a new TV. Amazon didn’t replace, but they refunded and did pick up damaged product. Then I Bought it from BestBuy. Was delivered NEW before the Damaged on was picked up from Amazon. BestBuy also offered 24 months 0% financing. BestBuy offered a price match, so I was refunded $300 due to the price drop after purchase. Just a honest comparison

    Beautiful color! Great Amazon service!

I needed a new tv for my living room and this one is fantastic! Wasn’t sure if qned would be good but the micro led tv is great. Colors are amazing and it’s very easy to navigate. We got the preferred delivery and Amazon sent 2 guys to deliver , unbox and set up tv. They were very professional and did a great job. Didn’t leave a speck of styrofoam anywhere. I would definitely recommend the preferred delivery service. And you won’t be disappointed with this tv

    Amazing TV

If you’re a gamer, I’m talking to you first.Just get this tv, or something a little newer that’s got the same specs. The picture quality, the HDR and the refresh rate are all amazing. Sound is incredible too. I’ve literally had or seen none of the issues people are talking about with “washed colors”.First thing I did was notice how smooth the UI is and how responsive it is to the remote. My previous TV was so laggy and sluggish. It was a Roku though, so it’s expected for the price. This tv is literally as good as my gaming monitor for my PC.10/10 recommend. The colors are incredible, sound, smoothness etc.

    Great picture but poor sound.

Our 55″ LG QNED85 has a great picture, very clear and the set up was relatively easy. We mainly use it to watch movies. My main gripe is that the sound quality is very poor. Hard to believe that this advanced smart TV could have such awful sound and none of the sound adjustments make a big difference. So far we have started to use an external blue tooth speaker to bypass the TV sound. You can’t use both together because the blue tooth has a slight lag and is out of sync, but by itself it works ok. It’s beyond me why LG can’t include a decent sound quality.

    Outstanding tv!

Ordered this on Monday and received it today. Right out of the box the picture and colors were terrible. But after lots of tweaks the picture looks great. I’ve got standard mode dialed in but want to work on Cinema and Filmmaker modes more. I’m sure I will get it all looking even better over the next few days but the early review is a big thumbs up! Hard to beat the price too as compared to other Mini-led tvs’s.Update 11/24/22: started experiencing sound issues after 3 weeks of use. Basically sound went out completely using eARC. After trying many different things the only thing that worked was to unplug all hdmi inputs and disconnect power from the wall for a minute or so. That restored sound. It’s done this twice in a week. If it wasn’t such a pita to box up I would return to Amazon. Tv speakers work but I want home theater sound. The troubling thing is I see the same complaint on LG oled models too so apparently an LG software issue.Reducing from a 5 star to 3 review. Picture is fine however.
