Cute but not the sturdiest
Cute umbrella that has been holding up well in the rain since I received it a month ago. It’s not the sturdiest so probably not something you want in a storm and not sure how long it will last but it’s doing the job for now.

Sorry, don’y buy the Purple ones, broke on 1st use
The only thing I “Liked” about these were the color, one of the reasons I purchased them, but really sorry I did. I have more dislikes on these than likes, and the dislikes will be explained in detail below.Dislikes: Wife used hers for the first time on 7/6/2023 when we had a hard rain, it was difficult to get open and would not lock in place, it kept popping out of the lock position and closing. Not only that, one of the ribs came out of the small plastic piece that holds the rib in place, she and I both tried to reinsert it, but to no avail, as soon as you’d try to open it, it would come right back out of the plastic piece that is supposed to hold it in place.If she, or I, managed to get it back into the piece that holds it, a light wind would just have it pop right back out again, even just closing it down would have this one rib give way every time, so that part of the umbrella would not stay upright or stiff.These umbrellas are extremely hard to open, they are extremely hard to get into the locked position, and if you do manage to get them locked, they don’t stay that way, the locking mechanism seems to always unlatch, and allow the umbrella to close down on you, getting you soaked in the process.And yes, everything about my wife’s experience with her umbrella also relates to mine, same exact umbrella, only difference being none of the ribs on mine have broken loose (yet), but everything stated is the same.So, nope, can’t recommend this umbrella to anyone, spend a bit more money, get a larger, better quality umbrella.With these, you’re getting cheap China made junk that will end up in the rubbish bin much sooner than it should.Don’t waste your time with these umbrellas, I have had similar umbrella’s that were purchased at the $1.25¢ store outlast these by many years that were given to us by friends. I had figured these would have been of a higher quality than those $1.25¢, and bought these since those had finally worn out after over 5+ years of use, but these, didn’t even hold up to a first use before numerous issues showed up. Will never buy these again.

Umbrella is very lightweight will not latch into opened position
While this fabric is printed with a cute print, the umbrella is not sturdy and not very functional. Maybe I received a bad one. The first thing noted is there is not a button on the handle to press to telescopically open it. The metal rod is very lightweight and would not withstand much force, looks easy to bend. But, sadly, the biggest note was that it did not want to latch into the open position. It also does not want to close all the way. The umbrella arrived with a cute little outer bag in the pretty print, which would be a plus but the umbrella, since it will not close fully, will not become slim/compact enough to fit back into the bag. On the plus side, the print is pretty, the waterproofing seems really good, and if you need an umbrella that is very, very lightweight because of weight limitations in luggage, then this could be a good option. It weighs less than 12 ounces.

Cute but…
Super cute product, but it’s definitely waaaay duller than the pictures show – one of the main reasons I bought it. It also has this almost pleather feeling to it.The picture is of the case it comes with which is the same material and color.It also does not have a button on the handle you have to push it all the way up yourself, but there is one on the inside that you can push to disengage the top stopper and push it down the rest of the way by hand.I have not used it in the rain yet. Will update when we get some!Verdict so far – if you’re getting it because of the vibrancy you might want to look at other options!

Nice but not push-button open/close as one ad image indicates
I missed the two spots that say this is manual open and only saw the image that says there is a button to open and close it. So I give it 3 stars because of misleading advertising and not having a feature I really wanted. I did take a screenshot of the ad but have not posted here in case it goes against community guidelines.

The carrier bag made too small

Broke after 3 using three times
Love the look of this umbrella but it broke after I used it 3 times. I pushed the button to open it and the entire umbrella shot out of my hand with such force that it landed on the top of the mini van parked next to me. There was a string hanging from the top and the umbrella will no longer open all the way. So sad.

Good for the price
It’s not bad for what it costs. I just needed something to keep in my truck. It opens easily, but closing it is another thing. Not the easiest. Can’t figure out why there is a down button😄 whatever since it isn’t top of the line, just an extra one to keep in emergencies.

Umbrella is black on top – the design is underneath
The umbrella came quickly, it’s auto open and it works as promised. It is exactly as shown in the pictures. I purchased it as a sun umbrella and assumed the decor was on the top and underneath. The top is black – I did not look closely enough. Just be aware the design is only underneath.

Does the job
Purchased this umbrella and enjoy the design that is on the inside. It keeps the rain out and has mechanical buttons to open. The only negative is that this umbrella is hard to close. I’ve had to push it against the wall to get to click close. I won’t recommend this for someone with mobility issues and challenges with arms/hands as it difficult to operate fully. For the value, can’t complain too much.

It’s a nice umbrella, the only thing I notice it doesn’t have a button to automatically open up. That I miss.It’s a good size and I can stuff it into my jacket pocket easily. Takes a very seconds to press button inside to close up. Probably ‘cause it’s so new.

I did not realize this was all made of plastic
I have had several umbrellas, and all had metal workings to open and close the umbrella, but this one is all plastic. It is a bit awkward to open and close the umbrella, so I am returning it and will buy a better-quality umbrella with metal workings. Luckily we did not have rain today because I would be nervous about using this umbrella in a storm.

Works as expected, except the pull strings can get stuck
This umbrella works by two strings in the handle pulling the head down and folding it. When you press the button in the handle, the strings get released and the head flies up and expands. If you fold it with your hands and push it down without holding that button, the strings don’t retract and instead get folded up and stuck in the handle. Easy to avoid. And really, what can you expect from the price.The design is lovely.

Durable, but not under windy conditions
I really like the design, and the travel size allows me to carry it in my bookbag. It extends a decent amount, so it loses it’s balance and gets caught in the wind if you’re holding the handle in windy rain, which most umbrellas tend to do. But, nonetheless, it operates as advertised, and didn’t turn inside out in the rain and wind in the Windy City so its a win in my book.

I’ve only used the umbrella once, but I’m happy with the results. It’s well made, sturdy and I’d imagine that the additional inside layer will provide more protection and less leaking like some umbrellas do in heavy rain. It opens and closes smoothly with a Velcro tie to hold it closed after drying. It’s big enough to provide coverage, but small enough that I can tuck it in the side door of my car, center console, in my purse, my kid’s backpack or hang it on my coat rack. The inside is vibrant, which for those who suffer from the gray days of winter, is helpful, giving a boost color and brightness to your day. Definitely worth every penny and better made than many I’ve seen for a lot more money.
