Overall, its really cute
my 5 year old daughter got this for her birthday. she was elated and in love, and has carried him around everywhere she goes. the only thing that I don’t care for about it is its ability to suck dry energy brand rechargeable batteries to nothing within 2 days. she only turns on the lights at night and the automatic timer shuts them off, so i dont think that it was her fault for them dying, maybe i just got a faulty product, idk. oh also, the projection it throws out on to the ceiling is just “eh”. there’s nothing fun or cool about it. I wihs that the stars and moon a puppy face (why a puppy face and a bone? idk. weird) were a little smaller in size and that there was more of them. these are big chunky shapes and only like 20 of them, if that. it cycles through your basic colors which is cool and there are different patters, cool as well.for the comfort, night light at bed time, and happiness it has brought my baby, I love it. I was just giving some constructive critism. this toy will not disappoint.

Awesome plushie and unbeatable for that price!!!
The media could not be loaded.
The first three days my kid used it constantly which means by the end of the week it was not lighting up and it was turning off every probably almost instantly like one of the reviews I read (and this thing got a substantial beating ok I have two daredevils) which by that moment I thought ok I’m probably one of those unlucky people. BUT. I changed the batteries for the ones that say extra strength or power boost I think it is… there are ones that say lithium too those lasted long, and it came alive like nothing happened. And for 15$ this lil shark it honestly the best addition to our nighttime routine 100/10 i would definitely recommend

3 y/o & 5 y/o LOVE these
My friend got our 3 y/o the unicorn Star Belly and her and my 5 y/o son LOVE it so much I just got him the shark. I love the timer that turns it off after 20 minutes so the battery doesn’t get wasted. My daughter has actually been sleeping better (read staying in her bed most nights) since using this nightly. We’ve only had it for about a month and I have had to replace the batteries once – but they use it a LOT.I like that you can have the stars moving or still.Overall, they’re adorable, my kids want the whole collection, and they do not make noise! What more can you ask for?

Definitely a great company for my daughters nights.
The product is of an excellent quality. She has used it every day for three years. Is her best friend at night. If used properly, the batteries can last a long time.

Good toy
I bought this for my daughter and she loved it. The only complaint is that you have to use a high quality battery like Duracell or Energizer, rechargeable do not last very long.

Best Gift for insomnia kid
The media could not be loaded.
If you are thinking about it, do not hesitate,,. just buy it you won’t regret it. This was one of the best gift ideas for my son I could have imagined. It does everything as advertised and does it even better! The toy shark is not only soft, cute, and cuddly, but is also FUNCTIONAL!! The ceiling display is bright and powerful which can change with a click of a button.. just press on the stomach to activate and/or change the color display- which is easy for a small sleepy child to use (without being overly complicated). I didn’t know that the projected images actually rotate and provides a little slow paced ceiling show. It’s cute, peaceful and relaxing, even for me to see as an adult. This is one of those things that I wish I had as a kid who also used to suffered from insomnia and fear of the dark like my son does.I can say that now he’s much less afraid to sleep by himself even without a light on because he now has his fierce light up shark to protect him and light the night sky. I am ordering more for my friend’s children as well since they heard my son bragging! This replaced the nightlight in his room! No contest!!

🌟 Starry-Eyed Stuffed Animal Review 🌟
If you’re looking for a toy that will light up your toddler’s world, this stuffed animal star projector dog is a real star! 🐶✨First off, let’s talk about the magic it brings to bedtime. The star projector feature is absolutely enchanting. It turns your child’s room into a celestial wonderland, making bedtime a dreamy adventure. My toddler is absolutely mesmerized by the twinkling stars and falls asleep with a smile every night. 🌟The stuffed animal itself is super cuddly and adorable. It’s the perfect bedtime buddy, providing comfort and companionship. Plus, it’s well-made and durable, so it can withstand all the hugs and snuggles your little one can give. 🧸Now, for the not-so-bright side – the battery life. This little star projector dog is a bit of an energy hog. It goes through batteries faster than my toddler goes through snacks! So, be prepared to stock up on batteries or consider investing in some rechargeable ones to keep the magic going. 🔋In conclusion, this stuffed animal star projector dog is a fantastic addition to any toddler’s bedtime routine. It’s cute, cuddly, and creates a magical atmosphere. Just keep an eye on those batteries, and you’ll have a starry-eyed toddler every night! 🌟🐶

Great STAR BELLY for the kids!
I waited a while to write this review – as this as a Christmas gift from “Santa” to our (5 yr old) daughters. Well, this went to one daughter, and the other one we obtained directly from Star Belly because one of the twins wanted a different one that nobody had. Now that its been nearly a year, I can say that this Starbelly and her owner in inseparable, and she takes it everywhere. ITs been a great ‘nightlight’ and only had to go thru one set of batteries since last Christmas. Two thumbs up!

My son has used it every night for years
My son got this as a gift about 2 years ago and has used it every night since. He loves it and won’t sleep without it. It does go through batteries pretty often so we invested in rechargeable ones. Love this thing! Actually just recently got another as a backup in case it’s accidentally left at a grandparents.

This dog is so soft and cuddly, while also doubling as a projector. It’s so helpful for bed time. You can adjust the settings on how fast it moves, or you can make it stay still. Has multiple colors & a very strong light. Takes 3 triple A batteries. It doesn’t play music, but still a super great buy!

Life saver!!
My three year old daughter has been having nightmares and night terrors for a couple months now. We’ve gotten a few things that mildly helped and made a bad guy spray. I figured I’d buy this for her for Christmas to see if it helps! This thing is a freaking life saver! She loves it. We finally have been able to go to bed without any lights on since Christmas. She just turned this on, gases at the stars and shapes it’s projects, she loves the spinning setting, and she falls asleep.I love that it has a 10 minute automatic shutoff so if you accidentally fall asleep to you’re not draining the battery. If she wakes up in the middle of the night she easily turns it back on herself and snuggles it back to sleep. The sound it makes is not obnoxious at all, it kind of adds to the soothing effect in my opinion and helps her fall asleep. Heck this unicorn helps me fall asleep too 😂 My only regret is that I didn’t give it to her sooner.

My son loves this!
I got this for my son for Christmas. It’s August and we haven’t spent a night without it! He absolutely loves his star belly friend! He names the stars as they move over his ceiling. It’s his bedtime routine now that star belly lulls him to sleep. The only drawback is that we go through a lot of batteries. I have to change them every 2ish weeks. It takes 3 AAA batteries, so I always make sure I have extra at him now.

Batteries don’t last long.
I had got the unicorn one for my newborn daughter and honestly she actually loves it BUT I WILL SAY MOM IS ONLY AGITATED CUZ IT IS VERY EXPENSIVE TO KEEP IT LIT UP FOR Her 😭😭😭😩, I mean I knew it took batteries but definitely didn’t think they would go dead in a couple days, she loves to watch it when she goes down for nap n going to bed n once she sleeping we turned it off,but after probably like maybe 8 hrs off n on the batteries die ,I honestly wish there was a way ya could plug it in to charge it. I have now bought rechargeable batteries but just saying, same issue with her swing cuz in this time of day ya think they would have where you can plug it in to charge them back up since everything else ya can .. other than the battery issue she loves it

Love the item but have some thoughts on improvement.
I purchased this, along with the Starbelly blue dog for my kids, and I probably get two weeks of battery life out of them. We use the same batteries for other toys that do similar tasks, like playing music on a timer (Scout plush from LeapFrog) or a timed night light, so I’m not certain if it’s the batteries or the toys. The motor on the Starbellies sound like it’s running harder so maybe check into that, toy engineers. Btw, I’m not typing this with a grudge, just trying to help developers, because my kids do love their gift. It’s just that when something doesn’t work well for one of my children, it can trigger his ASD meltdowns. Bed time is last place a parent wants to handle that tantrum.

My children absolutely love their Star Bellies
My children love Starbellies. We have 4, one for each of my kids but we’ve gone through 1 additional. I thought it was broken because the batteries wouldn’t work long. Turns out after getting 4 additional over the years, these Star Bellies just use alot of battery. Hasnt stopped us from buying them, as my kids love them and snuggle with them at bed time but the constant need to replace batteries (by a screwed in box) has cost this product a star.

Ripping seams
After approximately 75 stuffed animals were bought and gifted over my toddlers 2 years of life, he settled on this one to attach to and obsess over. He calls him “bear” and unfortunately bear is falling apart after two months. One of his arms is starting to fall off. The strings on his ears, paws and hands are popping one by one. I’d give lower stars but I also now have an emotional attachment to this puppy/bear. I’ll be purchasing them every few months for the next decade to avoid breaking my kid’s heart and I need the business to keep selling them.

Love Our Star Bear
Great Product with Bright Lights and different color options. Easier enough for a toddler to turn on and off, and change color. Quiet. Self timer to shut itself off. Just wish it didn’t run through the batteries so quickly, needing batteries about every month (3 -AAA), no matter the brand battery. But I will say that is with everyday use, and some days more than one cycle. Overall, it’s a hit in my house with my tot. (We have two)

Adorable Starbelly Dreamlight Plushie with Minor Battery Concerns
The Starbelly Dreamlight Plushie (known as Star Bear in our house) has undoubtedly won me over with its adorable design and comforting glow. As a parent, I can appreciate the sense of security it brings to my child at bedtime. However, my experience with the plushie has been slightly marred by its battery life, which unfortunately seems to drain faster than expected.Let’s start with the positives. The plushie’s soft exterior and soothing light have been a huge hit in our household. It’s the perfect companion for bedtime routines, creating a calming atmosphere that helps ease my child into sleep. The charming starry patterns add a touch of magic, making the plushie an instant favorite.Nonetheless, the battery life has been a concern for us. It’s a bit disappointing to find that the plushie requires frequent battery changes, especially considering its value as a sleep aid for kids. I find that using the toy nightly requires standard batteries to be replaced after about a week and a half. Less if using rechargeable batteries.Overall I give this product 4 stars still, as it works as intended and is a perfect bedtime companion despite the minor battery annoyance!

I don’t understand why they make these toys so loud – babies and young children have excellent hearing ! Some even have a switch to turn the volume down a little quieter but they are still to loud . Otherwise my granddaughter loves it.

Too much drain on the battery, toddler loves it though
This was recommended to me by a friend to help with our toddler’s transition from crib to bed. The idea is that the toddler holds it and watches the light projection on the ceiling while falling asleep. The material is very soft, making it quickly become one of my daughter’s favorite stuffed animals. There are two main reasons why I would not rate this higher than 3 stars:1) the draw on the batteries are significant. I need to replace batteries very 2 weeks, which is incredible excessive for Duracell batter use and hard on the environment. Given the minimal usage, I would expect batteries to last at least 6 months. We returned our first shark after it went through two sets of batteries in a month, thinking there was a defect. The replacement shark went through batteries just as quickly.2) the laser is not safe for children who do not understand to look away. We caught our 2.5-year-old looking directly at the laser multiple times, so we started putting the shark on a nightstand to project away from her. Sometimes she would let it stay there, other times she would get out of bed to get her beloved sharkie and move back into bed with it, where she would proceed to look at the laser. In the end, we decided to stop replacing the batteries. This makes it a semi expensive stuffed animal. If a stuffed animal is what you’re looking for, it’s fine. We prefer Jellycat because those are slightly softer and way cuter. If you want a light projection unit, suggest getting something that is not a stuffed animal so the child will not be tempted to grab it, love it, and look directly into the laser. If you don’t care about eye health or how many batteries you go through, go with this project.

Face is crazy misshapen, but hopefully it does the trick
The media could not be loaded.
My daughter seems to like it so far, but yikes. What happened to its face? My guess is the stuffing went in weird? There is empty material space that you can pinch on one side/temple area and it looks empty in the cheek under it, and then the poor muzzle area is way off and crooked. Pictures don’t do it justice. The more I look at it, the worse it is. I wish I knew how to fix it. I added pictures from a bunch of different angles. Ooooof o_O I think this one was an oopsie that passed enough. Ugly cat. I definitely would not give this to somebody without looking at it first.… But the light is bright and hopefully it works out for her. I may try to exchange it for a different one, if not.
