Amazing product once you get it on the wall.
The media could not be loaded.
This tv is worth the price if you like the art feature for when it is not a tv. Other reviewers are critical of sound quality: I hear no issues, it’s fine to me.If you are not handy: consider professional help to get on the wall. The instructions for doing that job are just not explanatory enough. Few words in fact and only pictures. No mention of what to do if you don’t hit rock or wood studs.

Very large. Great picture. Shows art when not active or you can turn it off all the way. Flat mount to the wall or use the optional legs.

Amazing TV
This tv transformed the entire appearance of our living room. We paused on the purchase due to the cost – but it truly makes the room. Very easy to hang and the art work is awesome.

The one connect box is HUGE!
I’ve had Frames since 2016 this 2024 model has a ginormous one connect box bigger than my pc, bigger than all previous versions. WHY?? I thought tech was getting smaller and smaller but Samsung just sent me a VCR!

Such a nice tv
Happy with the tv. Cool feature to be able to essentially hang “art” in your home and use it as decor. However, it’s super expensive to get the frame pieces. So, I’ll probably just diy a frame. Other than that. Love it!

Honestly just not worth the price tag
There’s nothing inherently wrong with the product, but one very important thing to stress is it DOES NOT come with the “Frame” in the box. That’s sold separately for 200 dollars. Out of the box you have a TV with a very slim bevel that’s made of metal awaiting the magnet of the frame. The art feature is neat but the screen is so bright that it kind of kills the illusion. I’ve looked extensively through the menus and haven’t found any way to turn that down when in art mode. Beyond that it really is just a TV with a screensaver. I know the allure is too tempting for most once they’re decided on it, but if you have the restraint, the money would get you a much better “non-art” TV.

Good deal
The media could not be loaded.
This tv is amazing. The 4k picture is so clear and I really appreciate how matte the screen is. The art motor is cool but it’s never going to really look like art. It’s always going to have that blue black lit TV like light coming off of it. I can’t say anything for mounting it with the mount provided because I use my own wall mount because I have an uneven wall, but it looked pretty simple and straightforward. The remote is kind of laggy when operating. Not sure why. Haven’t really look into it yet. Just got it last week. The frame is really cool and easy to switch out and put on. I would recommend if you can get a deal on it to go for it.

Art mode isn’t more realistic than past models
Very easy to set up and I enjoy using it!However I shelled out for the newest model thinking the matte screen was going to be superior to past models. Honestly, it’s not even really worth the price compared to regular tvs. Art mode doesn’t even look realistic, yet costs hundres more than a regular smart TV, just for that feature.

Love it!
So happy with this tv and I am very particular about aesthetics! I hate televisions in living rooms but this one looks amazing! Great sound – no sound bar needed. Adds amazing style to the room. Beautiful picture and art – love the matte glass finish. Easy to mount, light weight and only sits an inch off the wall. We had an electrician run the cable through the wall to a closet behind TV in the foyer. Electrician installed outlet in closet and one connect box sits on shelf in coat closet and works great!

Samsung 65in. Frame TV
I am very satiisfied with the TV. Once it finally arrived it is as advertised. I did have major problems with Amazon delivery and customer service. It took several days for them to admit they lost the TV and another ten days to replace it. If it is not an easy automated solution customer service is very bad. I talked to a supvisor who essentially called me a liar. I reported him but doubt anything was done. I spent over seven hours in three days before getting help.

The Frame Doesn’t Work…and So Disappointed with Samsung
The ‘24 Samsung LSO3D 65” has been a complete disappointment. It simply doesn’t work. Have had the TV for about a week and for the second time it has shut down completely…with a non-specific error message on the screen indicating some type of a problem with the connection between the TV and the Samsung One Connect box. The first time I called Samsung and after nearly a hour of troubleshooting they had me disconnect and reconnect the Samsung One Connect cable from the TV…and thank goodness that solved the problem. Today was the second time the TV has completely failed, and not only did that same disconnect/reconnect not fix the problem, but in addition I had Samsung on the line and we went thru every other possible troubleshooting exercise…and none of their possible solutions fixed the problem. So after a week of owning this new almost $2,000 TV, it is now completely non-operational…and astoundingly all that Samsung offered to do was to connect me with a non-Samsung repair shop that would contact me within a couple of days to arrange to come out to look at the TV. This is an almost $2,000 TV folks, and to say I’m dissatisfied and disappointed is an absolute understatement. Would never, ever recommend that anyone purchase Samsung The Frame. From my perspective it’s a complete piece of garbage. Junk.

User interface is infuriating – good TV terrible UI
1. The TV always plays heartland automatically as soon as I go into settings. Ive tried everything to try and stop this. Turned off every smart feature – autoplay feature – you name it. Its mind melting.2. The smart things app and adding your own phots is so clunky. Wont let you add photos if your “on a different wifi network” even though you are on the same wifi network and can control every other aspect of the TV.The TV functions okay but everything but the UI is so annoying id rather have any other brand.

Not worth the price.
What I did not like. Not 4k. Picture just ok. Operating system to display your own art NOT user friendly. Wish motion sensor would wake art display. Connecting cable is 1/4 dia and connector is larger than the other Samsung frame tvs. Can not download your own photos from Apple phone. Must use a usb stick. Can only download phone from Samsung phone. Monthly charge to add art. What I likedSeparate Control boxMounts flat to wall.Alexa compatibleIn summary I wish would have purchased a 4k computer monitor instead.

The mounting hardware is awful
I’ve mounted a good number of TVs and the fact the frame tv sends you phillips head screws with no hex and expects you to mount to a stud without stripping their screws is a joke. Just know that if you buy this TV you are far better off buying your own mount. Also, I’m not impressed with the art mode. This tv is not worth the premium price.

Great TV
This TV is very thin. The picture is pure and bright. I like that you can add your own “art” to the background with the TV is not on. Highly recommend if you’re in the market for a new TV.

Is it TV with Frame or Frame with TV?
Art display is very good. That’s pretty much about it. I think the designers of this device are confused whether they were creating a TV with Frame feature or Frame with TV feature (very different approach).Software is unintuitive and difficult to navigate. Hard to know whether we are adjusting brightness of TV or brightness of Art – these two are in different places and difficult to know.Overall, good concept, not so good execution.

It doesn’t look like art
It just looks like a television that is displaying a painting or picture. It’s not fooling anyone. For the price with all the hype it should look like a painting at least from afar. I scoured the internet for the best settings to try to make it look better. There are multiple sites and videos claiming a particular adjustment would work so I set it to where most of them said to set it. At the moment I’m even having trouble loading my own pictures onto it. I’m very disappointed I do not recommend this television for the price with the hype. That’s just a television it’s pretty good. It’s nice that there’s no glare from sunlight or the light in the room. The sound quality I can’t speak to because I haven’t hooked up to a sound bar. I assumed my Alexa Dot would be able to work with it because The advertisements said that it work with Alexa. It just has it preloaded. They do not work together my Alexa Dot will not find the television or tell me how to make it all work. It tells me it needs to be an Amazon TV for it to work.

Black screen before 1 year
Worked fine for a while but ultimately went the way of all Samsung TVs that we’ve owned in the past. This will be our last.Riddled with bloatware and dark pattern UX to get as much of your data as possible. The Art Store is deliberately difficult to cancel once you’ve subscribed. Performance of the TV’s hardware itself is abysmal if you’re running the apps natively on the TV instead of a connected HDMI device.Given how much they charge for this and the frame accessory itself these things are a racket, buy a Sony instead.Samsung support is also a huge pain, if you pull the trigger on this make sure you get Amazon’s device protection.

The best part of this tv is it has no glare. With a little hole in the wall we hung the tv and placed the “box” in the closet out of sight. The hanging hardware is easy to install and is fool proof. We love the art feature and have it on all the time.Remote is simple and works well it even has a photocell to recharge itself.

Be leary of large truck shipments
I’m sure Walt’s TV does fine in their store or with regular shipments. However, they are not good at large size products that ship LTL through Ceva Logistics. Ceva then sub-contracted to others to make final delivery. The tracking was incorrect and there was no communication from Ceva or Walt’s on why the shipment was delayed by six days.In the many handoffs and transfers the packaging was extensively damaged. Luckily the TV inside was not damaged. If you buy a large TV from Walt’s do your homework beforehand and be prepared for delays and lack of communication. The actual TV is awesome! I highly recommend it!

Wow, never again Samsung – you should pay me for my trouble and data
We had an excellent Samsung LED flat screen from 2004 that always worked and because it was not a “smart TV”, we never had to worry about it constantly sponging up our personal viewing habits to sell off to marketers and data collection a-holes. So we took a chance on the 32″ Frame TV and after about 4hrs of setup and trying to stop the incredibly intrusive shoving of ads, channels, services, and privacy violations, we gave up.Samsung Customer Service is a Disservice! How is it that this company can foist such junk on consumers at these prices and still survive?-The picture quality is sub par (QLED is kind of a running joke these days).-The ambient and motion detection are completely wacky and arbitrary.-Important privacy and channel/home screen options are buried deep in endless menus that are unintuitive-The frames are extra $, the art is extra $ and they are making big $ on gleaning off our personal data!-Menus are slow as heck and when the OS does finally get to what you are trying to do, it’s often lagging behind your next selection!-The 32″ version has NO Ethernet connection option and the Wifi antenna is so weak.-This is NOT a good product despite the draw of a picture framed, flush mount TV.Never again Samsung!

Don’t buy from Samsung and don’t order TV’s from Amazon
“I’ve been a loyal Amazon customer for years, always trusting in their service. However, my recent experience with both Amazon and Samsung has left me incredibly disappointed. I purchased a TV from Samsung through Amazon and hired a professional installer to mount it. Everything seemed fine until the One Connect box failed to work. When I contacted Amazon’s customer service for assistance, I was met with rudeness and unhelpfulness. Instead of resolving the issue, they directed me to return it, at my age, I needed then to hire someone to not only re-package this but send it back. TV’s are large. I am 78 years old. Samsung, which I had already contacted without success. To make matters worse, Samsung insisted on the TV’s serial number, which was only accessible after the TV had been mounted. Removing the TV from the wall was a major inconvenience, and even then, Samsung’s demands for additional information made the process feel like a frustrating comedy of errors. After wasting more time and energy, I finally secured a date for a Samsung technician to come out next week. However, I’ll now have to pay my installer to return and complete the setup, adding to the frustration and inconvenience. This experience has shattered my confidence in both Amazon and Samsung’s customer service. My advice to others is to consider purchasing from retailers like Costco, where superior customer service is a given. As for buying TVs from Amazon or Samsung, I strongly advise against it based on my regrettable experience.I’ve never felt compelled to leave a negative review before, but this ordeal has pushed me to share my frustration. If my installer hadn’t still been on hand, I would have been completely stranded. It’s a disheartening realization that even longstanding trust can be shattered by such poor service.”

a tv with a mind of its own
this tv has been terrible with navigating since day one. And now it just will not shut off. We click the off button and it shuts of for a second or two and turns itself back on. This goes on over and over to the point were we just have to unplug it. The “art work” doesn’t want to switch to tv. We got so tired of the fight to watch tv that I checked and we were a week past the return date so we have put up with the nonsense but now that it won’t shut itself off I’ve had it am about ready to just throw it in the trash. Absolutely horrible for a tv that was supposed to be “great”.

I love the frame tv, but these frames are very cheap and thin. I broke the one tab trying to get it on. It looks fine, but I am glad this one came with it, because I wouldn’t purchase it by itself if it wasn’t part of the bundle special.Get a different frame if you have one of these TVs.

An over-priced compromise
I own several large Samsung TVs. This is painting/TV a nice idea, but a middling execution. I saw the demonstration in CES 2017 and was impressed. But that was in a controlled environment. In a room with windows (away from the viewing position) where the outside light is reflected in the picture, there is no way to watch the TV mode. You can’t move the wall. You have to move your viewing positions. We had ours above the kitchen table. Standing in the kitchen you could not see the picture. It was the latest model, with the anti-reflection coating. Returned it quickly.

No frame!?!
Maybe I’m an idiot, but a TV called the frame with matting pictured in every image should come as pictured/titled, right? Wrong. This looks like a normal TV. It has a massive box that has to be connected to it and the art is an additional subscription fee. I need to pay as much to put a fancy screen saver on this as I do for Netflix? Total gimmick. There are much better TVs for this price.

Frame TV is a BEAUTIFUL Blend of ART and Technology.
The media could not be loaded.
Setting up the Frame TV is easy, and the One Connect box has NO VISIBLE CABLE WIRES, you keeping everything NEAT and CLEAN. ADD-in customizable bezels that snap on magnetically allow you to personalize the look, which is another mindful touch for those who value aesthetics as much as functionality.Overall, I highly recommend the Samsung Frame TV if you want a blend of digital ART and a TV that displays aesthetic art when OFF. It’s perfect for art lovers who also want a solid viewing experience!

Amazing. Best purchase for home ..ever.
Perhaps bad reviews are older models? This 65″ Frame TV is gorgeous in all the ways you hope it will be. This is also quite a technical marvel. Perhaps there were issues in the past, but after just one week, I can say with confidence that IF you’re into visual arts, and you don’t mind the $49/yr Art Store sub, this TV is a MUST. You will be blown away.In most lighting conditions, it’s hard to distinguish from a museum hung piece. In total darkness, its obvious that, although breathtaking, its back lit. Still stunning, mind you.The collections available via the Art Store are fantastic. Van Gogh’s heavy brush strokes look totally real in many of his works. Now, I’ve also loaded about 300 images from the 40K on my iPhone! And now, i’m looking forward to taking (horizontal orientated) pics that might be ‘Frame worthy’ additions.Get a pro (if you’re not one) to install and hide the wire. And above all, GET A BEZEL. Ours came with a teak bezel and I can’t even explain the improvement over the black edge of the TV. Truly, it completes the show. Finally, the youtube TV programming and all the streaming services look SO GOOD. Fantastic job Samsung designers.

Overpriced garbage
Always wanted one of these but having one realize why it isn’t as popular as a tv. It just looks like a normal TV, not much matte effect aside from just lowering the brightness. Features are terrible. The media box built outside of the TV is poor design. One basic feature of changing the picture size is greyed out for no reason at all. The slideshow mode for images looks terrible even though this is literally ‘The Frame’ Remote has 3 buttons dedicated to streaming yet not to the main reasons this tv exists like controlling artwork on the screen.Worst of all the normal TV border looks like any other TV border, and the ones that make it look like an actual frame cost 300+ dollars, this product is basically a scam

Love it but it’s not perfect
According to my research this Tv is your best bet if you want to an tv that looks like it’s a piece of artwork, not just a screen displaying a piece of art. I’ve literally had people in my house shocked to learn it was actually a tv hanging above our mantle. I’ve heard of being having difficulty getting the tv set up but I found it to be very easy and quick. I bought it for the artwork so I subscribed to the Samsung art store, but FYI you do have to pay about $50/year to get access to their art store. I was bummed to learn this as the TV costs so much to begin with but I believe it’s been worth it. The art store itself could be improved, you can’t search for specific pieces, you just have to browse the categories they produce. The tv quality: the picture has been good, not complaints. The Volume gets glitchy though! I think that’s my biggest complaint. We will watch something and the volume goes up really high and then dips back down, as if someone accidentally sat on the remote and pressed volume up. I hope this is a glitch they figure out.

Major upgrade from the old Frame versions
I have three other Frame TVs from the prior generation and got this to have a slightly larger one in the living room. It is thinner and the picture and settings are much better than the older versions. Filmmaker Mode is very handy to avoid always have to mess with settings to get UHD movies just right. It sets the TV how it was intended to look for UHD streaming movies that have the setting enabled. That is great. The new matte coating on the screen is really effective in rooms with lots of glare. It really helps with not only the realism of art mode, but also with watching TV at angles. All in all, this is a great TV.Adding your own photos to Art Mode is now much faster and more reliable than the old system. But keep your app updated!Drawbacks: 1) Not sure if the new remote is backwards compatible. If not, that would stink because with several other Frames, it is nice to have remotes you can use on any TV once paired. 2) The new UI is not as intuitive and requires extra steps to do basic things. You can see that the underlying software is the same, it just is a little more confusing now.All in all, if you are looking for a Frame, this is great. If you are looking to upgrade an old Frame, this is worth it.

So Far So Good
Ordered this from Walt’s Tv. Excellent vendor and service. They shipped the tv next day and arrived on time. Had the unit professionally installed. Used the included Flush Mount which makes the unit look and feel more like real artwork. It’s only been a couple of days and I wish Amazon would send these reviews after 30-60 days for a more accurate review. But, overall, setup was extremely easy and intuitive. Finding “free” artwork takes time and they really want you to subscribe to the annual package but there are free items available. Seems impossible to add your own artwork. Is in a well-lit room with direct sunlight and can view perfectly from all angles. Whatever issues there were in previous year models seems to be corrected in the 2024 version.

3 with caveats
Update- I’ve had the Frame TV for 7 months and have issues with keeping my Favorites that I selected with my subscription. When I contacted Samsung, by email and thru their help line, they admitted the favorites would be deleted after a period. I had to reselect the artwork again (over 300 pieces-time consuming). The remote doesn’t always work and the TV requires turning off and on again if the artwork scrolls too long! In all, the Frame and art is a great idea…Samsung just has to work out these bugs. I recently bought the Samsung Frame TV 32 inch with the matte screen. The five stars are because I read most of the reviews on Amazon and also did some research online. This information really helped me to be more informed so that I understood what I was getting into. The TV itself is a great addition to an area that I recently updated in my home. That being said, the free art is not worth the purchase of the tv. I ended up paying for the subscription which provides a plethora of artwork. Each has to be loaded individually to create “favorites” and you must scroll all the way to the bottom of the art view if you want to load your own photos. The rotation cycle can be set to sequence or shuffle but you’re limited to a three minute span per Art. The artwork is beautiful and the matte screen prevents a glare. The only thing I dislike is that once you’ve identified your favorites – I identified 324 pieces of art, the “delete” tab is right next to the “display all” tab so, I’m constantly worried that I may press “delete” instead of “display all”. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. Doing my research in advance helped me to know what to expect. The directions are all illustrations so are really useless- I understood-the free art that is offered, to have my Samsung account already set up, have my passwords available for streaming apps, and how the connector needed to be set up. It took a lot of time, but I feel in the end it was worth it!

32″ 2022 Model has issues
I was excited to start using the 32″ The Frame TV hung vertically on my wall, but, unfortunately, it never worked right. I was using my own photos, not the purchased ones, and you upload those from the SmartThings app. This is where it goes bad. After uploading about 20 photos all at once, after 20 minutes, it just didn’t seem like it was going to finish so we cancelled out of the app. Those photos did end up on the TV but now the SmartThings app gave an error when selecting Art mode. Trying to upload more images one at a time also seemed to fail but then the image would end up on the TV (at first). After a while even this failed. We’ve reinstalled the app, reset the TV to factory settings more than three times to start fresh, and, still it’s slow, buggy and the SmartThings never worked right ever again. We’ve even tried changing networks, having bluetooth on and then off, cell only, wifi only, both… and, nothing worked so I called support. While Samsung support were super nice they weren’t able to solve the problem and said they would send a technician. Well, we never heard from the technician, even though I suspect that they wouldn’t have been able to help either. After a week or so having lost about 8 or more hours of my life trying to make this thing function, because the screen is really nice when it does work, I gave up and sent it back. I’m now purchasing the 29″ Meural instead. I expect that will work much better. I love all my Samsung gear, but not this 32″ The Frame TV.

Beautiful, but not the best for hardcore TV watching
Designed to look like a piece of art when not in use. Has a customizable bezel and a matte finish that gives it a look of a framed art piece.Cons: sound quality is poor, needs extra speakers or boom box set up to make the sound better. Picture quality is not the best out there. And it is expensive! If you want your TV on all the time and enjoy watching with the best sound and picture quality, there are other models out there that is a better value. But if the TV remains off for most of the day, then the Art Mode is perfect for you and no other TV gives this beautiful alternative to art.

Beautiful picture, Q-Symphony not so much
Pros: Gorgeous picture quality, thin frame goes with almost every decor, art mode is fun. One Connect cable and box make connections to remote power outlets a breeze (though you might want to order the 15m/46ft cable)Cons: the Q-Symphony functionality doesn’t work well. We added the Music Frame to our setup, and Q doesn’t share the audio output with it as advertised. Also, the One Connect box doesn’t supply power to other components like soundbars, which is a pain with distant outlets and no desire to drill into drywall.

Great TV. A bit of a fight for using consoles on
I’m very happy with this tv. I had a 50″ tv in our living room and we downgraded to this 43″ tv and I couldn’t be happier with it.For starters, we have children, that remote goes missing and quite often. The app for this is perfect. It controls everything(including volume) which isn’t on some tvs. The interface is clean and easy to use on both the app and the tv. The picture quality is fantastic. This is the best tv we’ve had in the house by far. The features this thing has are unbelievable. I’ve been able to play xbox games for cloud gaming and easily connect a controller and it does include the option for things like luna gaming and other gaming features. The box to connect a tv to has been pretty easy to use. It allows for ethernet connection and connecting a number of other devices, like xbox, dvd player, etc. The art background feature is nice and does blend your tv in as a picture frame, which looks good. The remote does have solar power charging as an option which is pretty cool(as well as usb). The only thing I didn’t love was the instructions and mounting kit it came with. That wasn’t quite my cup of tea. I just got a different one but even then, I’m not dissapointed. Also just a note, when you connect something with an hdmi for the first time, you might have to turn your tv off and back on again to get it to work properly, but otherwise this thing has awesome quality, good features all around and I would be more than happy to recommend this to someone else.Edit: dropping a star. Thing is absolute trash when connecting to an external device. Been working on getting it to connect to my xbox 1 and i have to fight with it every single time. Havent been able to successfully connect twice in a row.Dont know who worked that part out but really missed the mark with that.

If you want to display your OWN art – Read This
I only want to use the Frame to display MY art, in a rotating, random fashion. So I am not reviewing any other aspect. It works. The picture quality seems really good. The matte screen has no reflections, and all my art is on there. But there are some issues:- Even though I only am displaying my art locally on the machine, taken from a USB drive inserted, you MUST create a Samsung account and connect to the Internet to get this to work!!! This is INSANE. However, once you have everything set up, you can go in the settings and turn OFF the Wi-Fi, so it will not keep connecting to the Internet (you can still use the phone app as a remote through bluetooth)- Every picture has a fake ‘mat’ on it. You can select from several or no mat. I want no mat! I want the picture to take up the whole 3840×2160 screen. There is no way to select all pictures and change it, you can only do it individually. For my 200 pictures that took a while. Yes, only need to do one time, but still a pain.- Picture is way to dark by default, but you can change the brightness in the phone app. Make sure not to cover the brightness sensor at the bottom.- Has 32GB of storage, so will store hundreds of 4k pictures. Just plug in a USB drive to transfer, that works easy (note 7680×4320 is the max resolution allowed to be imported). You can import from the app, but that only works on a phone, I could not get the Windows app to work.- It can now show your pictures randomly or in sequence. The random is fairly new and was a deal breaker for me for years. There are like 6 different time settings from 3 min on up.- The sensor to turn off when no one is around doesn’t seem to work very well.Overall, has it’s quirks for displaying your own artwork, but it works, and is the best thing out there (now that Memento is out of business)

Art store not included
The TV itself it pretty good, you can look at the RThings review for a technical review of the various aspects of it like view angle and brightness (they aren’t top of the line but good). The tv is pretty slim and light (for a 55″ tv), as you’d expect to be able to mount it like a picture frame. If you want it to show art make sure to select the motion sensor OR night mode, to be able to have the tv auto show images only when you’re nearby or there’s light & save energy. The remote is very cool, apparently it’s standard Samsung practice to have a solar charging remote with their tvs now and the frame’s remotes are white. It’s sad that you pay a premium for the art modes and yet there’s almost no free options in the art store itself. Make sure you’re planning to upload your own art if you intend to use that mode frequently!

It depends on what you want
There are better TVs out (OLEDs, this is an LED tv) there that are cheaper in price but if you want something that can be mounted and look like a frame then theres nothing out there, if so this is worth it.Why is this not an OLED tv if they are better, because they cannot display a picture without at some point suffering from burn in. This tv can display art all the time without having that issue. We put this on top of the fireplace and got rid of the tv stand and this gave us so much space.Like others mentioned, the tv cant function without the one connect box. It is like half an xbox in size and pretty heavy. This is the reason that the tv is so slim, because everything is packed in that stupid box. You have two options, have a small cabinet below and route the cables with some plastic covers or make a hole in the wall, see if you can route cables from an outlet nearby and put a recessed media box in (something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Datacomm-Electronics-45-8011-1P-Connected-Receptacle/dp/B083YS1ZKL)Doing this will cost you from $300 to $800 depending on where the outlet is and if you have drywall or brick.

BEAUTIFUL TV… but the logistics of working the TV, and displaying art, are horrible. 🤦♂️
I had a large, blank wall that was dying for a piece of art, but it also was where I had my TV. Solution? The Frame TV. After seeing one at a friend’s house, and literally mistaking it for a piece of art, I knew this was the solution I needed. The Frame TV looks absolutely beautiful on the wall, and with a frame around it, it truly looks like a piece of art.The downside? And the big downside, at that? Displaying the art on the Frame TV is sooooo difficult and counterintuitive; it is as if Samsung rolled this out without fully testing it. You are sent to an app on your phone, which is counterintuitive and incomplete. The guidance on the TV is counterintuitive and incomplete. I have read multiple posts on multiple forums on how to accomplish really basic things on the TV, which is insane and frustrating. So, is the Frame TV worth it? Probably yes, as the TV, as it is, and as it looks on the wall, is truly breathtaking, when it is running properly… but a software update to make the Frame TV more user friendly is desperately needed.

Absolutely love
It was a splurge but I’m happy I did it. I can’t explain how nice this is. Great picture no glare and the pictures you get are nice and looks as if it is really a picture. Love it

DON’T IGNORE THE INTERFACE COMPLAINTS!
I read them all, and there was resounding agreement about (1) the software being awful and (2) the picture being gorgeous. I disagree with #2.INTERFACE: I thought they were whiners as they complained about multiple clicks, but it is truly awful, junky, BUGGY, and disorganized. It’s constantly throwing you back to other menus, and those menus are deep! This is a really expensive TV that I don’t even use because it’s such a pain to operate. Really. It’s easier to walk upstairs or grab an ipad.PICTURE: Other people have mentioned that the first thing this TV does is steal a couple hours of your life by failing to set up the software. No. You can’t just turn on your TV and start watching. Maybe those reviews didn’t mention that, as a result, you’ve been staring at the blue screen—and truly loathing the experience—for a very long time. If you are lucky enough to get to the point where they start trying to sell you art that’s in the public domain, the blue glare is burnt into your eyeballs and you have no hope of seeing that thing as anything other than a really annoying TV.Yes. Guests will ask about it, but not because it’s convincing—because it ISN’T convincing. If they see a static image (and especially if you forked out the extra dough to buy a frame that isn’t black), your guests will see things that don’t fit with the standard idea of a TV or computer monitor. But the screen itself has little else to offer. You can warm up the tone and turn down the brightness, but that blue glare will always shine through. (Also, if you tinker with the setting much, you’re just asking for the software to start glitching, which demands a total reset.)This TV could truly be a joy for someone who likes to spend all their time fighting with buggy computers. Those people do exist. I’m just not one of them.I like that it’s thin.

Love this TV
The picture is sharp and clear, we had some adjustments to make, as previously we only streamed through chromecast, but once we got it setup, it is working flawlesly. It connected to our sound bar easily, and I figured out what settings I had to adjust easily.I like the nice clean lines, and it really does look like artwork. My only regret is that we didn’t get a bigger screen.

Picture Quality Lacking
We bought this TV as a special offer with a FREE Series 6, 65″ Samsung TV. It is a beautiful looking TV mounted over the fireplace mantel and does resemble a picture framed. The Frame TV picture quality is not near the quality of the older 65″ Series 6 we received for free. However, it failed (entered a perpetual reboot process) after just a couple of days of use. We are dealing with Samsung and they’ve granted us a free delivery of a replacement TV and pick up of the old one. This only happened after hours on the phone with Samsung, and after 1 month we’re still waiting on the replacement. Also, FYI. Amazon invoices for both TVs will not reflect a free TV. The free Series 6 invoice reflects a price of $344.86, which is deducted from the price of the Frame TV, resulting in a receipt for the Frame TV as $344.86 less than what you paid for it. So, if you want a refund from Samsung for the Frame, you’ll end up getting only $1153.13 for your refund. We went with the exchange.
