Perfect for 5-6yr olds
Easy enough to use- size appropriate for dexterity of 5yr old. Nice storage section for the parts. Latches to keep top & storage area closed could be a bit tighter & marker caps are double push/click to get back on but neither are a deal breaker. Image markers will have to be checked after to play to ensure cap on so they don’t dry out.

This was a gift for my granddaughter. She loved it. It was a little smaller than I expected but as long as she like it. She even shared it with my nephew who liked it. Would recommend for a young child.

This generation may not respond
It disappointed me how quickly my 6yo son got bored with this set. I plan to try it out more on a road trip, but in general I think this might appeal to a younger boy more, or a maybe a girl. Once the kids transition to more electronic forms of entertainment, then you will have more trouble getting a set like this to appeal to them. Regardless, this is an excellent bit of self-contained and portable nostalgia that I would expect to have the strongest appeal with kids around 3-5 years of age, when tactile play is more cherished and rewarding. He does get some use out of this, but honestly it is usually because an adult who values retro toys is participating. On the flip side, however, this might appeal to a teenager who enjoys arts and crafts, after they grew bored with the lack of end results or productivity in electronic entertainment.

Great gift!
We got this for our 5 year old son. The jr version is the perfect size for him, so I was really happy to see they had this as an option. I really like that it has a carrying case for everything, make it easy to keep everything together and organized. My son loves it.

Missing a marker…
Well made, bright primary colors! The Spirograph is meant to include 5 color markers. Ours arrived with only 4 colors-missing a purple marker.

There’s a reason it’s a classic
Fast shipping. Item arrived as described. I bought this as a gift for my niece since I enjoyed it as a child. My expectations of a tablet toting kid to enjoy it as much as I did were low, but they were definitely exceeded. My niece loves it!!! If you’re on the fence— go for it!

Easy for children to use
Spirograph has been around for years. I was happy to find this junior edition as it was easy for my 5 year old to use without any frustration and the pieces stayed in place. I would gift this and recommend it.

Fun for adults too!
I’m not one to write reviews, but this product is GREAT! I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and I find the adult spirograph set very hard to use. The pieces are too small and I can’t hold everything in place to get a good tracing. This set is PERFECT- big, chunky pieces that are easy to use in a nice carry case. It’s a good thing my kids are older or we might be fighting over this! LOL!

Like it but the markers are NOT very washable!
Bought this for my 3 year old – she loves it and has successfully drawn a few designs with it. I’m deducting a star because the markers included are NOT washable like i’m used to. She usually colors with Crayola ultra washable so I’m used to being able to wipe off. I threw them out and she still likes using it with other markers.

Perfect for little artists!
This was so much fun for my 5 year old! The spirograph holds the paper so it stays in place and the pieces are bigger than the traditional spirograph gears. Definitely high quality and worth the price!

One of best kids toys money can buy
This is hours of fun for any child. My 4 year olds could use it, and it’s fun for parents also. It’s small enough to be portable, uses half sheets of regular printer paper, and is great for a quiet activity for kids (like during a church service). It will work with most writing utensils, not just the markers it comes with, and really promotes hand/eye coordination and fine motor skill development. The combinations and layering capabilities mean that it never has to be used the same way twice, which makes it one of our kids’ most frequently played with toys. I cannot say enough good things about this toy.

Great for 4-5 year olds
I bought this as a gift for my 4 1/2 year old grand-daughter and she loves it! I was so pleased that she had no problem drawing with the wheels. She really enjoyed herself and proclaimed, “I love this! I could do it for hours!”

Cute and fun, but limited
I grew up with the original spirograph which I loved. This is cute, but for small children. You will want to upgrade as your child grows, or just wait and purchase the big kids version. This is great for little ones, maybe starting at age 3-4.

Fun travel toy
Honestly, my kids like this so much that they fight over it. We have a regular spirograph, but it was too hard for them even though they were really interested in using it. They like that everything can be stored inside and that the gear hoop does not move.

Well made and exactly like the picture.
I bought this for my granddaughter for her 7th birthday. I was afraid it was going to be too easy and juvenile for her, as she has great eye hand coordination and is mature for her age. However, this spirograph turned out to be perfect! She had to spend time practicing the fine motor skills needed to use it properly. After some practice, she absolutely loved it. There are just enough pieces to make it interesting. Everything fits into the case and it can easily be taken in the car or a plane, if traveling by air. I highly recommend this product.

Not the best for traveling
This is a pretty cool set for a starter. All the pieces pack inside nicely, but the case does not snap shut, so for traveling, it’s not the best: just get the travel one for that. It does come with a pad of paper sized specifically for it, so that’s nice. Once it’s gone, regular paper will be fine. The holes in the sprocket things are bigger, so you almost have to use larger tipped markers, because they move around in there some. Overall, it’s a good set for starting out to see if they’ll like it to buy the more advanced sets later on. For my 3 year old granddaughter, it’s good

Well-designed and such a blast!
My 3-year-old flipped for this thing. It contains all the pieces in a nice little case, so it’s perfect for on the go play. It’s chunky pieces fit her hands and functions well at her developmental stage. Plus it makes for fun art and seems like a very relaxing activity.Additionally it’s sized for a half-sheet of standard 8.5” x 11” paper. I love that the company didn’t try to make it only fun with their paper or something greedy like that. They let this be as fun a toy new out of the box as it will be a year from now or more.

For the Bluey Fan!
This is a cute gift for your favorite Bluey fan, but I will say I wish there were more of the paper inserts included in the package. I believe only 3 pages were provided and my kiddo seemed to loose interest after those were used up.

Nieces loved it
Bought this as a gift for my niece who was turning 5. She and her sister (3) were both immediately excited to play with it as soon as it was unwrapped and kept wanting to play with it. Their parents wouldn’t let them though and I’m still not sure if they’ve gotten to try it yet. But they were really excited to try it and I’m sure they will love it if they ever get to.

I love that the disks in this set are a little chunkier than the ones I had when I grew up. These are a little easier for young kids to maneuver while still creating fun patterns. This is one of those timeless gifts that’s fun for kids of all ages, and adults too!

For at least a 5 year old
My 3 year old can’t figure out how to keep the gears down to make a picture but my 5 year old gets it and loves it. Waiting on a table I ordered to sit down and keep them both busy and then try to make sure the 5 year old has the concept. Fun!!
