    Good Umbrella for Kids – Hard to Push Button

    These umbrellas seem to hold up well to our rowdy boys but every kid that has ever tried to open it with that darn button cannot push it. It’s hard for us adults too. That would definitely give it 5 stars for me if that button wasn’t a pain in the rear to push every time.

    Sturdy

    I used this umbrella for shade on the hot summer day of our town’s Blackberry Festival Parade. The wind caught it and opened it up backwards. I was able to return it to its original shape with no damage. Happy with this umbrella

    Does the job

    Price to functionality match for this umbrella. I didn’t have a lot of money and the rain wasn’t letting up, so I bought it. Not many umbrellas are going to fair well in the wind nor did this one, but it kept me as dry as any other given the weather.

    Saved our historical walk

    Got a white one to help with blocking the sun when out of town on a historical walk. A rogue rainstorm showed up and quite happy we had it with us.

    It’s a good umbrella

    Yellow Umbrella

    I thought the umbrella was made well, sturdy and easy to use. Color was great! Unfortunately Amazon did a terrible shipping job? I’ve ordered before from the Stromberg Group and all of their products are individually wrapped! This umbrella was not wrapped, filthy as if they dragged it on the warehouse floor and the umbrella was bent! I fully blame Amazon’s packaging and shipping for this fiasco!

    Great bang for the buck no question

    We have 2 of these by the door & that makes staying dry a no-brainer. These umbrellas work with when you need them to, & the best part is they a cheap enough that when you lose/leave one behind, you won’t cry about having to buy a new one. The best part you can pick a completely different color every time! Again great bang for the product no question.

    Bigger than I thought!!

    It is bigger than I thought. I am overall happy with this umbrella. I gave it an overall 4 star because it is flimsy when the wing is blowing and kinda sticks when it’s wet and you close it and then try to pop it back open. It is light and easy to travel with.

    Pretty Good Umbrella for the Price

    This umbrella was pretty good except for the fact it broke after i dropped it like 3-4 feet on the ground. The umbrella doesn’t close properly now but it still does its function.

    Love it.

    This is a decent size umbrella, I have it at work in my desk for those emergencies when it starts raining and I’ve forgotten my umbrella again! I love the coloring as I ordered red and white, which is the colors of IU. Easy to use and to handle, made well. Great price. I would definitely buy again.

    The yellow is ideal for softball games.

    I bought the yellow colored umbrella for softball. It’s the perfect match color wise. I’m satisfied with the water resistance, but I have some difficulty with the opening button.

    you get what you pay for…small flimsy wont hold up in a driving florida thunderstorm

    great for a backup umbrella to leave at work or keep in an extra car you only drive occassionally, cheap enough to give to a needy old lady loading her groceries in the rain.

    Keep you dry

    Son wanted a red umbrella to matches red sweatshirt to matches. Red shorts to matches red shoes. Rainstorm came through two days after receiving and it performed like a champ. Perfect size for a nine-year-old likes to jump in puddles. He’s even figured out how to put it back into the storage sleeve

    Not easy to open or close

    I don’t recommend unless this one I received is one of the ( bad ones ) it’s hard to open and really hard to close, mainly the release button is hard to press, and when closing it you almost have to reposition your hand a few times to get it to go all the way down .. it does keep the water off of ya !! LOL . But your going to have everyone looking at you when you are opening or closing cause it takes a while

    Umbrella in AZ

    Well, what can I say? I only used it for barely 30 minutes walking to work. And I only used it for that one day. It now still hangs on my dresser hook waiting dor another rainy day…if we’ll every have one. It’s Phoenix, AZ, what can I say!

    Bright green umbrella

    I ordered a bright green and bright blue umbrella and I keep one in my car and one in the house. I also bought a bright yellow one for a friend. I’m pleased with the way it pops open when I press the bottom on the handle. Very happy with my purchases!!

    Not suitable for heavy weather

    While it’s a fine umbrella for light rain, it would not stand up to heavy rain or wind. Not a horrible value for the price, but not a good one either. Would not recommend.

    Good but small – cap broke off first time opened

    The first time I opened the umbrella, the top piece separated. Now it kinda hangs limply when the umbrella is closed and while the umbrella works fine without it being attached, I’m betting that a gust of wind is going to destroy the thing. Guess I’m getting what I’ve paid for with it and will use it as long as I can till I have to toss it.

    Strombergbrand umbrella

    I got the yellow one (a nod to HIMYM) and it looks great. It’s bright but not obnoxious and I have to think I’m more visible in darker rainy weather when walking with this canary yellow umbrella. It does what it is supposed to do – blocks the rain. I have a large purse and this is still too long to fit in there. While this is smaller than a standard umbrella, it’s definitely not the micro size and you’ll probably have to carry it around once you fold it up. It does come with a cover that keeps it nice and neat while not in use – the cover has a handle so I hang it from the coat wrack. I recommend it – it’s a decent sized little umbrella. Extra props for the yellow color – it’s not the most common color out there and I think there’s an added measure of safety with it. Recommend!

    You Get What You Pay For

    It is pretty cheap construction and I have doubts it would last through more than a couple of rain showers here in South Florida, depending on the wind. but I grew up in NYC where when it rained unexpectedly, you just bought an umbrella from one of the corner umbrella guys and if you made it high and dry to the building you were walking to, you got your money’s worth.I keep this kind of umbrella in my car for such infrequent events here in South Florida, where hard rains usually come and go in 10 minutes, and the umbrellas usually last me about 2 years, depending upon what squalls I find myself in. So I’d recommend this in the same circumstances, but if you are in an area with more rain or wind, I’d buy a better product. The button to open the umbrella is also a little hard to press to get it open. I wouldn’t give this to anyone for a gift.

    Orange umbrella

    Perfect for the Halloween decoration. I attached a scarecrow to the light pole in yard and then put this orange umbrella strip tied above the scarecrow to keep the rain off it. Faded a little bit due to the Florida daily sun but it was exactly what I wanted

    Good, but hard to open.

    I bought this for my 10-year-old son. We received it in good condition. It looks exactly as described. However, it’s hard to open. You can’t just press the button to make it open, you have to brace the handle against something and pull the umbrella towards you like you’re closing it, then you can press the button and release it and it’ll open. It was a little frustrating until we figured it out.

    Very few problems

    There are a few small gaps in the fabric allowing some rain through the middle, and it wasn’t as big as I thought it would be, but that’s because of my lack of checking measurements.

    Polyester, easy to open/close

    This is a nice umbrella. I got yellow, wanting one fun and bright. Opens easily and closes easily, yay! I’ve had them, that are hard to close, not this one. Light weight polyester with cover that actually goes back on b/c fabric folds back well. I ordered two umbrellas, one from another company and this one outshines the other for sure. Need a new one for my car on those days with pop up showers. Haven’t tried it yet but having several umbrellas over the years, I’m sure it will work well. I will update if there are negatives. Would buy again.
