Not made in USA
I purchased this luggage because it said country of origin USA. Upon opening it days made in China.Cases look very nice, but also the 28″ seemed very heavy even without being filled, and I was concerned it would be to much to handle for a month long trip. The dark blue and brown is a very nice color combination.

Look to be well made.
Just received this and they look to be well made. I’ve had many luggage’s over the years including samsonite and they appear to be equal if not better. The wheels move smoothly with 0 wobble and are sturdy. I have a connecting flight coming up and will come back to this to adjust if needed. 4 stars for now until after my trip.

Survived Falling Out Of Car – Best Luggage Ever
The media could not be loaded.
I never write Amazon reviews, but I had to for this set of luggage. We recently took a trip to Italy with our kids. I purchased this set of luggage for the trip and it arrived in Italy in perfect condition. Some of our other luggage had marks on them, including a damaged wheel on my son’s.The best part of this story is when the car trunk popped open, after going over a speed bump, and the one in the video fell out. It slid down the road a 100 feet before stopping. I ran out and grabbed it before it got ran over. Not a scratch, dent, or any other sign of injury.

Very Lightweight
This item is impressively lightweight. While it’s challenging to assess its durability without extended use, it appears to be reasonably sturdy. Typically, lightweight materials don’t equate to durability, but in many cases, a lightweight bag is more valuable than long-term use, especially considering airline weight restrictions. Overall, it’s a fairly attractive piece in a cream/country brown color scheme. It may not be the sophisticated black that’s currently in vogue, but it has a charming, homey appeal.

Beautiful and Well Made
I received the 24 inch medium hardshell luggage in “elegant white”, which is a beautiful cream color with lovely brown accents. I’ve even got my travel outfit to match hahahaThis luggage is spacious and lightweight with 360 degree spinning wheels. The wheels seem durable and the luggage rolls very easily. These traits are what I was looking for in a luggage and this VIPBox Luggage checked off the boxes!I have yet to take it on a trip though, as I was scared to send this beautiful baby through TSA without a protective cover (which I didn’t have for my last trip). That being said, I can’t speak to how it performs while traveling. I will be ordering a protective sleeve and taking it on my next trip. I will update my review if anything out of the ordinary happens! So far though, I recommend!

Bigger than expected
This thing is huge. I thought it would be a good carry on. But this is way bigger than that. In fact, my husband and I had a shirt trip to take back home for just 4 days, and it fit both his and my clothes and everything else we had intended to also have a carry on.I like that the outside is a hard case. My other suitcase isn’t, and this way there’s just a bit more security for me, knowing our bags will get tossed and thrown around, but at least nothing on the inside would break. Like a small perfume bottle or something. It has a combination dial lock on it which is also TSA approved. I love the neutral color it has to it and it rolls very well. You can very easily just roll this across the floor and on carpet as well!I was surprised about that one when I first tried it out.

Sturdy suitcase
After searching for a very study and durable suitcase that doesn’t look like all the other suitcases out there, I decided to purchase the 3 piece pastel colored luggage set.Material: PC shell, pvc (rubber around the zipper, per vip box customer service)Customer Service: responded quickly and pleasantlyPlace of origin: China, not USAZipper: description says YKK, but I don’t know since the zipper has the VIP logo and wording engraved on itInner lining material: Seems to be strong and durableWheels: rolls well on smooth pergo flooring and tileSide and top handles: lots of space for someone with small, maybe even medium hands, but it would be a tight fit for someone with large hands.I really liked that the left side of the suitcase, when open, has a flap with a zipper to prevent your contents from falling out when the suitcase is closed. That flap also has two small pouches with zippers that keep your smaller items from being buried under your larger items. At least visually and functionally, I’d rate this suitcase with 5 stars as this suitcase looks promisingOverall, I rated this suitcase 3 stars because the suitcase needs to survive being handled and thrown by airline personnel. I haven’t crossed that bridge yet.

exceeded my expectations
This Vipbo 24″ hardshell carryon luggage is a super lightweight yet durable suitcase. This black suitcase has 4 roller wheels and a nice handle on it – the suitcase can roll in all directions. I used this as a checked bag – it rolled with ease. It has a zippered interior with one zippered side compartment. It was a great size for all of my packing cubes to squeeze into.

What a great carry-on!
I needed a smaller suitcase for carry-on when traveling, so I grabbed this suitcase! (OK, honesty here. I live with chronic illness and disability. So while I would LOVE to be able to travel to exotic locations, it’s tough to stay in a local bed & breakfast here in Amish country!) LOL! I LOVE the quad wheels and how easily they wheel my suitcase! I love the colors and quality of the durable zipper as well!!Also, this carry-on doubles as my hospital suitcase as well and makes it to **Kell’s Disability Must Buy list, too! When I’m hospitalized due to chronic/rare illnesses, I have a lot to pack for an overnight stay. I must pack my feeding formula, as it’s not one the hospital carries. I also have to take my Ostomy items as well, especially because I don’t want to get stuck with the awful items the hospital uses. And I have to take my CPAP machine and supplies. I also prefer my own pj bottoms and special orthopedic pillow. (YES, it takes alot to keep me alive at my young age, but what else am I to do folks!). Anyway, this suitcase fits everything I need, especially the snacks I ALWAYS pack for my husband as he stays with me!Great suitcase that fits a variety of needs! Grab one the next time you need a carryon sized suitcase!!

Super smooth spinner!
Took it on our first trip today and used it for the kid. She was very easily able to push it through the airport (wheels just glided along) and even used it as a ride a few times. She’d push and then hop up on top. Not great parenting perhaps but she was having fun and it was early. Sized perfect for US carry on travel. Liked the dark blue and tan color scheme. Did not understand the lock. Zippered bag with a lock on the side of the case? Not concerned, it was kids clothes but still had me scratching my head.

Rolls smoothly, strong feeling zipper and rugged exterior
I recently ordered this bag because I had a last minute flight with an airline that wouldn’t allow a 24” carry-on (the max was 22”). It initially caught my eye because of the unique design. Nothing is more frustrating than trying to figure out which one is your black suitcase on the belt at baggage claim. It rolls really easily and the handle telescopes very smoothly. The zipper didn’t “catch” at all like my other suitcases often do. It has some nice pockets inside for organizing your things. They claim you can back for 1-3 days in this. I packed for 2 and had some extra room. My wife on the other hand, she could probably only pack for a day in this one. So far, it survived a round trip flight to Tulsa with a layover each way and I can’t find a single scratch or dent on it. Its first trip was a success and hopefully it’ll hold up for years to come. After a few more test runs I may end up purchasing the rest of the set

Great carryon sized luggage
Love the hardwired carryon luggage. Lightweight due to the lightweight plastic material but a lot more durable than the soft sided luggage. Fits a lot for its size due to compression. Wheels (in my opinion the most important aspect) rolls surprisingly well. Low level carpet or hard floors, the luggage handles it with no problem. Tested it on top of uneven pavers, of course it’s going to get bumpy and uncomfortable, but it didn’t topple over so I’m satisfied. Very good piece of luggage and a lot of value for the price it’s asking for

Sturdy, locks, and comfortable to roll
This is a surprisingly nice suitcase. The lock works great and the zippers seem strong enough to stand the test of time. The other shell is a great material that can probably withstand being put through the paces of multiple trips and the interior has a pocket to separate out items. Overall I wasn’t expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised by the quality.

Very nice bag, slightly misleading photos
Like another reviewer said, the photos for the 20″ bag, which I received, alluded to the bag having a zippable expansion, which it doesn’t. Those photos are for a larger bag, so don’t expect the 20″ to be expandable. However, the bag looks exactly like this otherwise, rolls very silently and smoothly. The zippers lock into a programable TSA-safe lock. This 20″ bag is very small, smaller than my other bag that is also carry-on permitted. I’d say the 20″ bag is good for a light packer for maybe a 2-3 day trip with maybe 1 change of shoes. The open compartment with the X strap is slightly compromised by the handlebars which takes away about 1″ of flat space, so keep that in mind, put something there that can warp around or fit in the grooves between the handlebar channels.I can’t knock the bag though, it’s very nice, feels of quality, will get the job done. I almost docked a star for the misleading photos but it’s very possible the person selecting the photos didn’t realize it considering that bigger bag still looks almost identical to this smaller one in every way. The physical dimensions are just different.

Sturdy Suitcase with Smooth Zippers
I ordered this suitcase because I wanted a 24” 4-wheeled spinner. I frequently have 2 suitcases and a backpack when traveling. It is easier to push the 4-wheeled case than to pull a 2-wheeled case. There is a purple strap on it at the airport because I was afraid it would be hard to recognize as a new case, but I didn’t need it. The light/dark brown color was enough to distinguish it.The zippers are smooth, and I love that the zip divider is solid, so completely separated the two sides, and that the divider has two zippered sections. The case is very sturdy and stood up to airport handling even with the expansion unzipped. It roles smoothly, and does everything I wanted it to do.

Vipbox Luggage Set
After years and years of the typical black soft sided suitcases for our many travels, we have gotten these beautiful pieces and love the color and design. We haven’t yet tried them but they appear to be well made, with plenty of room and roll and handle like butter. Looking forward to our next adventure with these, as well as not ‘guessing’ which black suitcase is ours.

Beautiful and classy
I wish I had the entire set of this luggage! It’s very pretty and has an elegant design. The hardshell case is 28 inches long and offers an additional 2 inches of extended width using the expansion zipper. Locks are TSA approved and the double wheels move with ease 360 degrees. The exterior is easy to clean with a soapy cloth and the entire suitcase is very lightweight but made of sturdy durable materials. The handle is ergonomically comfortable and comes in 3 settings to accomodate a variety of heights. The inside comparments include zipped pockets and the standard cross straps to secure items. Well worth the money

Chic Carry On
Carry-on hard shell luggage looks more expensive than its actual price. The color combination kind of makes it look like from a luxury brand. It’s off-white leather brown colored trim gives it a chic look. What’s inside is what completes this luggage. It’s got 2 accessory zipped pockets integrated in the divider that’s also zipped. One side of the compartment has strong and tight cross straps. The material lining is thick. You can also expand the main compartment for a bit more room. It also comes with TSA approved combination lock, to lock in the zippers. The four double wheels seem smooth, sturdy, and swivel freely. The handle extends without a hitch. Now this is the standard size carry-on hard shell luggage which is 20 inch in height and about 14 inches width. You should have no problem bringing this with you on the plane for a domestic or international flight. I’m not too sure on reliability and the strength of the material as I have not used it yet for traveling. But the hard shell materials seems on par with that of the brand names.

I thought it was expandable
I was looking for a replacement for an expandable 20″ suitcase I love, but has a broken wheel. For some reason I thought this one expanded, but it does not. This suitcase is identical in size to another 20″ suitcase I also bought as a replacement, but slightly smaller than the one I really like. This is a good suitcase. Everything on it works well. It’s a nice color and different enough that it will make it easy to spot on the conveyer belt. The wheels roll very smoothly. The zippers slide easily and it has an integrated TSA lock that you can choose your own 3 digit combination. It has two compartments inside; one with straps and one with a flap. The flap has two zippered pockets, one with mesh and the other covered. The handle seems sturdy, has three positions, and collapses flush with the case, which I really like and looks nice. It’s also very lightweight yet seems fairly sturdy.Overall this seems like a good suitcase that should last for many years. I just wish it expanded as it’s nice to have some extra flexibility in case you purchase some things on your trip or need a little extra room but don’t want to switch to a much larger suitcase.

A Dream Replacement for our Luggage
While recently picking up a friend from an airport, I watched as EVERY SINGLE PERSON save one had luggage with 360 degree spinnable wheels. I resolved to dump all my old, torn, luggage that had the old wheels that did not turn as soon as I got home. This was my first replacement. It inspires me to plan a trip! What a joy to not only look up-to-date, but most of all to be able to manipulate my stride without getting stuck as if I was pushing or dragging an old shopping cart. The two-tone is very nice and it coordinates well with black or browns. I will consider building on this collection. It is lightweight but hard sided. It will fit on carryon which is great as we try to avoid extra bags when possible. The inside straps and zippers inside are standard and well-made. Handle works well enough. Glad to have it!

Excellent suitcase all around
Wowzers! This is a fantastic suitcase! The hard shell exterior does not have any bend to it. Usually suitcases that advertise as “hard shell” have a lot of give when you push on them. This one has maybe about a 2% give, otherwise, it’s solid as a rock. My belongings are fully protected in this suitcase.I LO-OVE the grown up colors. The black is more like a deep gunmetal, and, along with the tan trim and silver/steel hardware makes me feel mature and sophisticated as I’m rolling it along. Speaking of which, the caster wheels glide effortlessly like a bat through the night sky. This is so easy to push in any direction. The 3-step handle is genius: the adjustable handle levels makes toting it around in various environments a breeze. I ordered the 20″ and the size is actually fairly generous. I used this easily for a 3-day weekend trip, and could see using it for even a week-long trip, depending on what was the function of the trip and what I was packing.I’m very pleased with this product and have absolutely zero complaints – 5 solid stars all around. Highly recommended

Very nice large suitcase
I was looking for a piece of luggage to replace one of our large suitcases that has just worn out. I’ve never used a piece of hardside luggage so I wasn’t sure what to expect. This piece is very well made. It is light weight. The plastic shell is flexible but appears to be strong. The main zipper is heavy duty so it should last. The handles all retract tight against the sides of the case so they should resist being snagged and damaged. This piece has a lot of room in it. The interior is lined with a silky fabric to protect your clothing. there is a handy flexible divider that separates the two halves. It zips open to allow access to the top half. It has a couple of handy storage pockets for smaller items. The expansion zipper is also heavy duty. The wheels roll easily and adjust from an upright (flat) roll to a pull behind (tilted) roll seamlessly. The pull out top handle is comfortable to lift and pull (maneuver) the piece. Recommend.

Nicely designed
This is very lightweight and carry-on sized. It might be even a bit smaller than the max size permitted for carry ons by the FAA.The zippers are name brand but are a bit sticky. I am hoping they will ease with some use. This is NOT expandable–there is no gusset or zipper to ‘let out’ to gain some extra room on this size piece. The wheels are spinner type–you can easily push this in any direction you need and you can tip it if you like and carry another bag on top with no issue. The inside is nicely finished and lined with a zipped compartment separating the luggage into two halves. The outside is stylish and warm–an eggshell color accented with brown. It is super light weight.MY reservation about all of these PVC shell luggage pieces is that they seem so fragile. The plastic material is extremely light and bendable. I don’t think they actually are as fragile as they seem and since I have used them extensively without issue, I guess I should accept that something as lightweight and stylish as this can actually be pretty tough.I call this an upgrade pick over some of the other PVC luggage I have seen which does not have the panache nor some of the quality details (lining, TSA lock etc) this one has.

It light and expandable
Having experienced issues with our previous luggage, particularly with handles and wheels breaking after a few times, we were looking for something more durable. This suitcase seems promising, and we hope it will be better than our old luggage. One of the features we love is the expandable hard case, which provides versatility when we need more space. It is a lightweight suitcase, making it easy to handle, and the blue color is very appealing. We have yet to try their 3-year global VIP warranty or exclusive 1V1 service. We will report back on any issues we encounter in the future, but so far, we are pleased with our purchase.Things to improve:1. Easy access to laptop2. Space for mobile charage and phone

Lightweight
Size-wise, this is a great suitcase. It is definitely big enough to fit a few weeks of clothes, depending on how you pack. It’s a pretty average size for a checked bag. It has a nice look to it, simple and sleek, though I’d add a sticker or something to make it easy to find on a luggage carousel. It’s quite light, which is nice, but this is definitely a trade-off for the hardness of the shell. I’m a bit worried about the long-term durability of the case because of this, especially if you’re someone who flies a lot. Otherwise, it’s a pretty nice suitcase that looks and feels quality, and it’s at a good price-point. So if it lasts a few trips then it’s a good purchase.

Almost perfectly effortless luxe look luggage
This 20-inch hard spinner travel suitcase is extremely smooth and quiet to use.For travelers like me who prefer to – 100 % of the time – wheel around my carry-on, this is the solution. The wheels turn on a dime to 360-degrees with little effort. It’s lightweight and holds a weekends worth of clothing, toiletries, and real books. The black/tan color scheme looks like a million bucks and works for BOTH GENDERS.The zipper is sticky when the luggage is filled with items, but still workable. (-1)The aluminum handle pulls up to three variable heights – great feature for when I’m in heels.I have not used the lock yet so I cannot attest to functionality.

Attractive, Compact Carry On
This carryon hard case suitcase has a nice color scheme that makes it appear like a brand name bag. Nice features like sift interior lining and zippered panel in side make it pretty easy to pack several days of clothes for a single person, or maybe a weekends worth for a couple. Good zipper and decent wheels complete the package. Note that it does not have a zippered option to expand out wider to allow more content to be packed in like some of these bags do, so you are limited on how much extra stuff you can pack in. But overall it’s a nice bag and will do well as a basic carry on bag.

Decent Luggage for the Occasional Traveller
The suitcase has great style and function! Four multi-directional wheels allow for easy navigation, and built-in zipper locks give peace of mind when traveling through public spaces. On the inside, several zipper pockets allow for separating smaller items without the need to pack or purchase a lot of smaller bags or separators. This is certainly not for a road warrior traveling half the year for work, but this could be an excellent choice for someone who goes away a couple of times a year or less.

Hopeful, but time will tell

Nice LARGE suitcase
This suitcase is 28″ which is a larger size suitcase. In the description it does say carry on but it is way too large for that. Carry ons are usually 16-18″ It zips nicely, the wheels are fluid and it has an expandable zipper. Time will tell if it will travel nicely without breaking or popping open.

Impressive durable and stylish carryon
I love love love this carryon.I recently bought this carryon for my multiple domestic and international travel. This travel bag was perfect for all the trips. During my business trip i was able to keep my business wear on zip side and other items in the other half. It has lot of space but looks nice and compact. Its wheels worked really great on carpet as well. Compared to the other carryons I have I would rate this highest than others. My kids loved to roll this bag and preferred it over the carryon during the travel. I also love the color combination that this bag gives, it adds style to your overall look :). Its vert durable and handles all the wear and tear of the travel with ease.Highly recommend!!

Good looking carryon
I love this white and tan carryon with wheels. Just used it to travel recently and it held everything I needed for a four night vacation. It is super sliding and easy to push throughout different floors (concrete and carpet and grass). Inside, one side zips closed so you can put things in there you don’t mixed with other stuff. There isn’t an extra zipper to expand it but that’s good because you don’t want it ripping at seams. This case is extremely durable and strong, and super easy to clean. On my travel home I checked it, and it got a few black scuffs on it, but when I got home I used a Clorox wipe and it came off easily and it’s back to brand new. This is very stylish and has a simple classy look. It has a tsa lock built in but I haven’t used it yet.

Lightweight and roomy
This checked-size bag is about what I expected, most luggage at this price point is both “lightweight” and also “a bit flimsy.” I don’t expect it to endure baggage handling without obvious wear, but if it lasts a year I’ll consider it a reasonable value since I travel a lot.Outer shell doesn’t feel very substantial but that’s the trade-off for weight. Wheels and handle are OK. Zippers move smoothly, and the integrated TSA lock is a bonus. I do wish both of the zippered compartments were see-through mesh. Another minor annoyance: the X-shape elastic strap on the inside cannot be adjusted/tightened.I nornally choose a bright color suitcase so it’s easier to find on the baggage carousel; if you’re more a buttoned-up business type who prefers classic black, then this one at least has the brown accents that distinguish a bit from others.

Took it to Europe as soon as we got it
We got the 20 Inch Hardside Carry On Luggage. It was good and appropriate for the 2-week trip. This luggage was the right size, it met the airline size restriction on carry-ons. It’s also light but strong, and above all, manageable. We’ll be using it again and again.

Durable Vipbox Hardside Lightweight Expandable Luggage
I ordered the Vipbox Hardside Lightweight Expandable Luggage to replace my Heavy Aluminum Suitcase. The Lightweight Hardside Suitcase is very light, secure, and it does expand if needed. Wow, I am impressed
Vine reviewer here giving you my honest hands-on review and inspection of the product you are considering.I went out to buy a smaller suitcase much like this. I wanted a pretty color, and found something that worked, but it was expensive, even with a good sale. But that was for me, and for about 4 days of clothing. This one is big, and will do for both my husband and me for longer vacations. The suitcase is not too heavy, it’s sturdy outside and has good zips that unzip and zip up smoothly. The wheels roll so easily. The handle lifts easily, too. It is more masculine than I wanted, but my husband is happy with it. He says our luggage is always too girly 🙂.We haven’t traveled with this yet, but hopefully sturdy enough for rough baggage handlers. You can get a lot of stuff in there, but it’s not so big that you will be over weight, hopefully. There are separations and big pockets with zippers. The locking mechanism is easy to use, just follow the instructions. However, I don’t think it’s totally secure. But then, neither is anything if someone wants to get into your suitcase. But for leaving in your hotel room, I think it’s good enough.Overall, I am so glad I ordered this. I went to two stores to get my last one. This one is comparable to what was on sale in the stores.

This Vipbox (medium only) Hardside Lightweight Expandable Travel Suitcase stands out from my other luggage due to it’s remarkable ease of rolling, including a very stable and comfortable handle. Over time I’ve decided that as long as my luggage holds what I need and withstands the beating of air travel it’s all pretty much the same, but this one is immediately and noticeably better than most because it has such a smooth and stable feel while rolling along whatever surface I’m walking while traveling. In fact my college-aged daughter volunteered the same thing — she was happy to roll this one while traveling with me, leaving the other less smooth/stable one for me 🙂 It’s a nice suitcase.

Pretty Good but needs Better Handles
I recently returned from a trip where I used a similar suitcase of a similar size and I really liked that one. I got this in an attempt to get one as close to that as possible. The hard shell case is nice and is one of the things I was looking for as well as the size which makes it a great carry on when you fly. If you plan and pack carefully you can carry more than enough for a week in this. Of course this may vary a lot depending on where you are going and how you need to dress, but if you plan to wear shorts and T Shirts for a week, you can easily carry everything you need for a week with room for at least one outfit suitable for going out if you need to have that option. For some reference, I am around 6’6″ tall and around 290 lbs. I am able to pack my folded shirts and pants easily without have to cram anything . In the main compartment though there are a couple of metal rods which are part of the telescopic handle so you may have a print of that shape on stuff when you take it out but that is pretty common in suitcases. The telescoping handle works well and the wheels roll very well. The one negative thing I have to say about this suitcase has to do with the other handles. On a suitcase this size I prefer to carry it instead of rolling it. These handles do not leave enough room under them for my hand. Yes, I have very large hands so this may not be a problem for some people, but the one I used on my recent trip had handles that let my comfortably hold the bag and carry it. I really wanted this one to be the same way. These diminutive handles are very hard for me to use and I question whether they will last long term. Trying to put my hand in tries to force them to spread apart in a way that they really were not made to. A handle that will not allow a human hand to fit under it is a design flaw. Yes, my hands are large, but not freakishly so. I get the impression that they figured you would not really used the handles to carry it, but as small as this is, I would rather carry it than roll it.There is a programmable lock which seems to work well. I like the way the separate compartments are arranged inside the suitcase. I like the size and basic construction of the suitcase. The handles are really the only negative thing about this suitcase. If it had usable handles I would have given it a 5 Star rating, but without good strong usable handles that are large enough to fit my hand, I can’t do that, so it gets a 4 Star rating.

pretty good … not flawless
i am sitting in an airport typing this one – this bag is next to me – we are on our 2nd trip together. the first trip was a week long double trip adventure, this one was a weekend adventure. i would recommend this bag for a weekend adventure – i will not use it for anything more than 3 days again. it’s an overhead appropriate sized bag. it’s a hard-ish shell. i only use hard shell anymore. i say hardish because it’s a very lightweight hardshell plastic – somewhat flexible even. the lightweight is a HUGE pro, the flexibility, not as much. it does not have an expander on it – where this becomes a negative is this is something i typically use as a compression assist when i am overstuffing for a weeklong trip and avoiding checking – fill, expand, zip, then close the expansion … amazing. this is not an option with this bag so if you overstuff you just can’t close and the flixibility situation gets really weird. one of the other reasons i chose it was i thought it looked unique – i travel a lot – i clearly have not been looking at other peoples luggage because now that i have i see all of the brands that look like it. today in the lobby of my hotel a family walked by with the an entire set that was almost identical down to the color, the only difference was that the silver logo on the front was in the middle. then the guy that sat next to me on the first flight put a black one that looked extemely similar in the overhead next to it. so you know, check your luggage, make sure it’s yours. my last flaw with it is the handle – it’s comfortable and all and it slides up and down with ease but it is awkwardly shaped, like when i slip my backpack or a laptop bag with a valet strap on it i have the hardest time get it back off – it has a huge lip coming up – i have broken the same nail twice doing this – i can’t break this nail anymore. but i think i’ve also learned my lesson here. all around – i do like the luggage – it’s a good size for weekend away or like 3 days max. it’s nice looking and is extremely lightweight – which is helpful when carrying on.

Attractive with nice features
Well, my two decade old carry-on bit the dust. After 4 international trips and countless domestic air and car travel, it finally broke beyond repair. Time for a new one!First, the bad with this suitcase: this is not an overbuilt suitcase. The hard shell seems thin, and the extendible handle has a bit of flex. Also, the manufacturer claims the zippers are “YKK zippers”, but there’s no YKK stamping on them. I am fairly certain YKK marks their authentic zippers as such. I am very skeptical about this claim. Finally, only after ordering did I think about the impracticality of the white color. That’s going to show scuffs. That aside, this suitcase presents sharply out of the box. The white and brown look is very appealing new. It looks nicer than photography can capture. The wheels work nicely. The bearings are smooth enough to make the suitcase glide across smooth floors. They have a rubberized overmolding that acts as a tire so they don’t slip. It’s a big step up from my crusty old two-wheeler.The zippers (again, doubtful they are YKK) do operate smoothly and seem stout enough. The interior appointments are fine by me. Two pockets, one mesh, one not. I like that the pockets bisect the suitcase (unlike my old soft-shelled case). There’s a lock that the manufacturer claims is TSA approved. My first trip with this was a car trip, and I packed it with baby clothes for my son. So, I haven’t been able to assess its airworthiness with heavy items being brutalized by indifferent handlers. However it did well getting hefted around for a few days of car travel. The smooth wheels and lightweight build made it really nice in that role.Overall, I think at the right price this is a suitable piece of luggage for the occasional traveller, especially if you’re looking for something easy to move around. I do worry about its durability under the horrific treatment of the average US airline. That said, it’s functional and worth buying at the right price.

Very light, smooth wheels, well designed, lacks toughness/durability. Only for carry-on. Expensive.
Two things I instantly realize and really appreciate about this suit case is the lightness and the smoothness of its wheels. This case was very satisfying to roll around as the wheels feels no resistance and the bearings they have were very smooth. With the materials they used to make the case, a majority of the weigh is basically dependent on its contents, allowing you to pack more and feel less of the weight. The zipper is certified YKK and is very smooth in opening and closing the case. The lock is well made and was easy to use and customize. The only thing I felt it misled me on was the part where it said this suit case was expandable to which that is not the case, at lease not for my 20″ version. On thing I would’ve preferred was if the inside lining sheets were more thick. Each side has access to unzip that can get you deep down to the inner surface level of the case, but I felt that these sheets were a bit thin. Although the materials used to make the suit case all feels light, it makes me question its durability for long term use and how much beating it can take before it starts showing wear and tear. This is the type of suit case I would not trust to be shipped where workers will toss it around, as I don’t feel like the built material was designed for heavy beating and handling. This suit case should only be used for carry-on, if one wishes to make it last as long as possible. For a $80 pricing during time of view, I felt that compared to other options in the market this suit case is a bit too expensive. This suit case trades portability and usability for toughness as the case is quite light but the material did not felt too durable. Had this suit case been priced around the $50-$60 price range, it would be a very competitive option and made it easy to recommend, but for that value I would consider other options with more reputation first.

Perfect for occasional travelers
This suitcase set is perfect for occasional use. It is fairly lightweight and light duty. The hard shell 3 piece set fits together for easy storage, the small bag in the medium bag and the medium bag inside the large bag.The smallest bag can be used as a carry-on for airline travel. The medium bag may be accepted as carry-on for some air travel. The large bag would need to be checked baggage. When opened, each bag has a similar configuration with an elastic X strap and buckle to contain items in the bottom half and a fabric zippered divider to contain items in the upper half. The divider also features small zipper pockets for documents or other flat items. The handles and wheels work great and make this set easy to move though busy air terminals or train stations. The zipper lock system is a nice added touch.I really like the classic beige and brown color combination. It looks nice and is easy to spot on the luggage carousel when everyone else’s bag is black or gray. The measurements are: Large bag; exterior including wheels 29″L x 19″W x 12″D, Inside 26″L x 18.5″W x 11″D overall. Medium bag; exterior including wheels 25″L x 16.5″W x 10.5″D, Inside 22″L x 15.5″W x 9.5″D overall. Small bag; exterior including wheels 21.5″L x 14″W x 8.5″D, Inside 18.5″L x 13″W x 7.5″D overall.I think these will work great for the average family but the serious traveler will want something more rugged and substantial.

Good carry-on for short trips
WHAT I LIKE – Sufficient storage for 2-3 day business trips – Two zipper storage for socks, belt, etc. – Integrated lock mechanismTO BE AWARE OF – Seems to accumulate scuffs and marks easily – Wheels tend to slip on smooth surfaces – Topples over easily with a laptop bag on topGot this primarily for use in 2-3 day business trips. I typically carry a couple of shirts / pants, toiletries + inner wear, PJs and exercise shoes + wear. Just to give you an idea of volume, this suitcase comfortably fits these items. The two zipper storage is convenient for various smaller items. The integrated lock system is a def plus.A few things from my use – Had the misfortune of needing to gate check this bag. Came out on the other side with a ton of very visible scuffs and marks. Magic eraser seems to do a good job in removing a lot of the marks. – The wheels have no grip, so whenever I was on tile/granite or other smooth surface, they tend to slip at times. – Due to the two compartment layout the bag easily topples over when your laptop backpack is attached to the handle. Keeping most of your bulkier items on the bottom side seems to work better.Overall decent bag – ideal carry-on for short trips.

Great for short trips!
I like this Vipbox Carry On Luggage 20 Inch Hardside!Pros:*It IS lightweight as is says, yet it feels sturdy.*Love the two pockets, one mesh one not. Gives options as to what you have shown when you open after a long trip at your hotel/destination.*Zippers glide wonderfully.*Zipper pulls are not thin and cheap!*The clip is so simple a child could clip this if you’ve got children packing their own stuff (some of these clips are a bit annoying to remember how-for kids).*The inner lining material is not thin and cheap, it’s noticeably thicker than the average (most luggage liner is thin like a parachute (or near to)!*The handle expands upward with wonderful ease.*The outer zip pulls have ample room to attach a lock (I took a pic so you can see).Cons:*The zipper lock makes no sense to me. Maybe that’s just me but it’s not much of a negative because I’m just not going to be using it.The positives far out weigh my tiny annoyance so I think this is a terrific little piece of luggage.Last thought: When I received this the price was around $89, do I think you’re getting value at that price? Debatable. I would think you’d get a medium one at this cost & this is a small (the one I’m reviewing is the smallest).

Upscale but affordable
Quite the luggage in my opinion. It’s got the basic features with a few extra bells and whistles. One of these extras is the configurable pin lockpad. The overall build quality is fantastic and I’m quite happy with it.The wheeels spin rather smoothly on hard surfaces like tile but not so much on soft surfaces like carpet. Overall, recommended.

Well Suited for Travel
This suitcase looks and feels like an average mid tier suitcase. Not a bad thing, just the best way I can describe it. Brown accents help set it apart and will make it easier to spot when claiming, but other than looking a little different color wise, there is just nothing special or unique about this suitcase that will set it apart from an almost endless selection of options out there. The zippers moved well with no resistance and the wheels rolled well and smoothly. This is my preferred size of suitcase as anything larger just weighs and slows me down when I’m traveling. If you are an efficient packer, I think you can get away with a suitcase this size for most trips. For this reason I have tried and used a lot of suitcases this size. While this one looks good, functions as it should, and will serve its purpose, I just don’t see the value in it for a brand with no name recognition to stand behind. With a list price of one ten (at time of review), the value lacking. If you like the look of it and don’t mind the price point, it still a decent suitcase that will get the job done.
